The private entrance of Little Downty opens to a spacious porch, ideal to store a couple of bicycles if you're planning to explore the area on two wheels.

The next door, complete with stained glass panels, opens to an entrance hall exuding period elegance - high ceilings, sideboard and historical curiosities.

A tranquil lounge boasts two separate sofas to recline in front of the (not-so-period) smart TV and there is a dining table set in the bay window.

The double bedroom has a tasteful, floral design, with a traditionally-styled bed frame, plus dark wood dressing table and wardrobe. Patio doors open to a pretty communal garden with outdoor seating - perfect for a morning coffee on a sunny day.

Little Downty has a well-equipped, country cottage style kitchen with plenty of worktop space for food preparation. There is a fridge (with small freezer compartment), an oven, microwave and dishwasher, plus crockery and utensils.

A Nespresso coffee machine and milk frother provide a luxurious touch, plus there is a washing machine if you need to do any laundry.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower, sink, toilet and bidet.

While children are not permitted, a small-to-medium size, adult, neutered dog may be considered. Please contact us to discuss your furry friend before booking (supplement will apply).

Little Downty is located in the residential area of Upperton in Eastbourne - just a five minute walk from the train station. It offers easy access to the town centre shops and restaurants.

Eastbourne beach is also within easy reach, as are the beautiful South Downs. You can hop on a train to visit nearby Brighton, Bexhill or Hastings - and there are many quintessentially English villages to explore nearby.

Parking is on street, with restrictions in place between 11am - 1pm, Mondays-to-Fridays. You can purchase permits from Exclusively Eastbourne to enable you to park all day - just arrange these with us before you arrive.

All bed linen and regular towels are provided (pack your beach towels) and WiFi is also included.
