Staff in restaurant especially during breakfast inefficient. took more then 30m to get yoghurt served.... other tables with 6 guests were served 2 dishes each in meantime. waitress should identify better the customers i.e. business travel single person or 6 guests on holiday. staff at night waiting behind bar, almost felt like they avoided contact with customer. If it weren't for the kind gentleman...

'The houseboat is located in a marina which looks a bit rundown, a car is absolutely necessary to go to Rochester or any other nearby village. The owners have been renovating the property for the past few years and indeed our room was nicely decorated and clean. Unfortunately though the boathouse is located next to a highway bridge and the noise is just unbearable. We booked our room in November 2024 for a stay in July 2025 on a B&B basis. 'Personeel was vriendelijk efficient leuk soms ...als ze er waten! In de bar ontbrak de brdiening het restaurant verwachtte ons niet. Tja dan kan een kleine lamer een bezemkasst worden bij wijze vsn spreken. De krant lag smorgens voot de deut zoalslafgesprokenafgesproken en bij het ontbijt'

'stayed here before and love the place. The room is tastefully decorated as is the house. The bed super comfortable and sheets top notch, so smooth and cosy. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Hosts friendly and helpful as always. Cute seating area in the garden, plenty of parking and easy access to town, public transport. Will definitely stay again.'

'Lovely stay at The Beaches, hosts were amazing. Great room some some lovely touches, very homely. Parking on street if space available. Approx 1 mile from pier which was a lovely walk along the seashore. Breakfast was fantastic, continental selection, fruit plate and then choice from the menu I selected smoked salmon & scrambled eggs on toast,unlimited tea or coffee. Front & back outdoor sitting area. Would definately recommend. '
