Great cabin
A very good place to spend time with friends. There is enough space for everyone and something to do for everyone, lots of room for games. We had a good time with friends in this cabin. Very recommended for large group gatherings.

Blown away
It was night when we got to the place. As we were pulling in, we could see the orange glow from the lights inside. The closer we got, we could see the rest of the lodge. We were blown away. Through the windows, we saw a huge Christmas tree. It was magical. We were all so excited! We explored the rest of the place and it really delivered. Jokingly, we complained that the place was too big and we had to walk so far to see everyone. It didn’t take long for us to think about coming back and booking this place again. We really enjoyed our stay and the amenities were endless. Highly, highly recommend.

It has something for everybody
Place was great, it truly has something for everybody, the kids never got bored with all the games, arcades and basketball court. I was impressed at how well equipped the place is, when it says it is for 30 people, they really mean it, this means there is enough of everything for 30 people, from pans, plates, glasses, cups, etc. We loved the place and we would definitely recommend it and will probably come back.

Great Friends Getaway
We came with 4 other families with teenagers. It is a great house for this age group; the kids loved having the upstairs game room all to themselves. The master bedroom is the closest room to that large room with bunks, but that’s the luck of the draw. It was a bit noisy but we blame the teenagers, obviously. We will certainly be back next summer!

Family Reunion
We all enjoyed our stay at Highlander Lodge. We ranged in age from 2 to 91 and there was something for everyone. We appreciated a fully equipped kitchen, 2 gas bbqs, toys and high chairs and beds for the kids. The game room was thoroughly enjoyed as was the hot tub. Plenty of parking, too.

Fun house!
We are a large multigenerational family that gathers every summer to reconnect. As the "kids" get older, it's nice to have a lot of things to do under one roof. The game rooms were a lot of fun as was the large flat area between the house and the creek. The fire pit area by the creek was pleasant. There was plenty of parking for all of the various rigs too.

Exceptional home for group gathering
This home is everything it advertises and more. The kitchen is large and incredibly well stocked. The amenities just don't stop - board games, video games, table games, entertainment galore! The spaces within the home are fun, unique and well separated for quiet time and privacy, but there's plenty of room for gathering and group fun, as well. It was cold and snowing when we were there, so we didn't take advantage of the outside spaces, but they looked equally inviting. The fireplace and radiant floor heating kept us cozy warm, though. With all the windows in the soaring living space, we felt as though we were inside a huge snow globe. It was a magical experience and we will definitely be back!

Excellent for families
We had a great time. Check in was easy. Full kitchen with lots of dishes was nice for our large group. We took full advantage of the basketball court/ game room/ and bonus garage game room. All the kids said it was awesome. The location was great in a quiet neighborhood.

Perfect Spot
We celebrated our 50th anniversary at the Highlander Lodge and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. Our four adult children and their families joined us and there was so much to do in the house that nobody wanted to leave. We did some short hikes in the area and had just a wonderful time there. There were plenty of private spaces with lots of room to spread out, and ideal gathering spaces as well. Just the perfect spot for us!

Incredible House!
This well stocked house was amazing and has everything you need for a fantastic trip. The basketball court was a huge hit with the kids, as was the poker table for the adults. The neighbouring area is beautiful, and we enjoyed the nearby lake as well. We will be back!

We loved it!
This is by far the best property we have stayed at. We have a big family so airs hard finding a big enough cabin that has enough bedrooms or space for kids to play and not feel cramped. It’s very spacious, and has everything you need for your stay. Will definitely book again.

You can’t beat this property!
If you are looking for a house that offers everything you’d need, amenities for all ages, space for a large group and different areas to entertain smaller groups- this is the place! We had a wonderful time on this magical property. Everyone in our group could spread out and enjoy the many, many amenities this location offered. It was immaculately clean, had everything you could want and then some. The kitchens were especially great. We had brought some kitchen supplies, not being sure what they’d have to cook for our large group, and we didn’t need to bring anything. The two game rooms were awesome and allowed some people to stay up later without disturbing others. I really can’t say enough about this property! We made memories to last a lifetime and are so happy we chose Highlander lodge!

Wow!
This place is amazing! We had a good size group and this place had ample space. It’s even more beautiful than the photos and so incredibly clean. The first thing we did upon arrival was to play hide and seek, which I highly recommend as a fun way to explore this giant house. Unlike other rentals this one had a very well stocked kitchen as far as dishes and utensils. We cooked some great meals and made some awesome memories.

Amazing Getaway for a Reunion
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay at Highlander Lodge! We were so impressed with the ease of booking, checkin in, and all the communication leading up to and during our stay. The accommodations were so comfortable, and we especially appreciated the abundance of plates and utensils for kids. The kids loved the bunk beds, toys, basketball court, and arcade room. Perfect Men’s Retreat
The house is gigantic but the amenities are what are truly special. We played dodgeball on the indoor basketball court (!!!) and there are so many other fun things to do. Almost none of the guys even left the house the whole weekend. My only gripes are there was a Nintendo Switch on the listing that got pulled AFTER it was too late to get our deposit back and the wifi never did end up working the whole weekend. The huge array of amenities makes that pretty forgivable, but when we called them they basically just said “oh, that’s a bummer.” No real solution offered at any point, which I found incredibly strange. But overall it’s hard to overlook the amenities for the price. Amazing house that I imagine we will rent again in the future.

We have been going on a family vacation for the last ten years and this is the most perfect place! The kids were busy and happy-we hardly saw them with their electronic devices! The house was gorgeous and so clean! We hope we can come back next year.

The perfect weekend!
This place is beyond amazing! We had group of 27 for my husbands 40th birthday and it was better than we could have imagined! The house is so press out you never felt like you were too crowded even when we were all in the kitchen/dining area! There is so much to do I wish I had booked one more day!
