Deze moderne eilandcabine ligt aan de waterkant van de hoge oever en is ideaal voor een klein gezin of stel om van te genieten. Het huis ligt op loopafstand van de voorzieningen van Rosario Resort, waaronder dineren, zwembad, buitenruimte, kajaktochten, walvissen spotten en toegang tot het Moran State Park. Het grote dek heeft een tafel en stoelen om u te helpen uw grillfeesten te voltooien tijdens die mooie eilanddagen. Nadat je naar binnen bent gegaan, zul je eerst ramen van vloer tot plafond opmerken die een panoramisch uitzicht op de wateren van East Sound bieden. Een open woonkamer is compleet met propaan open haard en een flatscreen-tv. De tv is verbonden met streaming direct tv en heeft Netflix, Hulu en HBO klaar voor gebruik. De andere kant van de grote zaal is een eettafel met vier comfortabele stoelen. De keuken is uitgerust met alles wat nodig is om uw eilandmaaltijden te creëren.

Als je de hoofdslaapkamer binnenkomt, zul je eerst de koperen plafondpanelen opmerken die in een dakraam omlijsten dat boven een kingsize bed staat. Wat een prachtige plek om naar sterren te kijken! De gedeelde hal bad beschikt over een bad douche combo. De lage loft is perfect voor kinderen om van te genieten. Er zijn twee eenpersoonsbedden op een zachte vloerbedekking. Voordat je het halve, loftgedeelte betreedt, is er een zitkamer met een liefdeszitbank die geweldig is om te lezen. De love seat kan worden uitgetrokken om een derde eenpersoonsbed te maken. Door het hele huis zult u prachtige lokale eilandkunst en meubels opmerken.

Het huis ligt op het westen en met de hoge oever waterkant en het grote dek kunt u genieten van enkele van de mooiste zonsondergangen die het eiland Orcas te bieden heeft.

Relaxing Getaway

Very comfortable and well maintained house. Great views of the sound and nature (even a bald eagle hanging out 100 feet away). Loved the location as it was a quick trip to East Sound (great food) and Mt Constitution.

Swift Getaway

This was everything we hoped it would be! The white bedding on the comfortable beds with sane comfortable pillows are amazing! Stick with white! The deck was clean enough to lay on and watch the sky and listen to the birds. A short drive to the market good coffee and even the farmers market soon! Get a tea pot in there, thats my only suggestion.Maybe its there and we are blind. What a sweet, dreamy, cozy spot Thank you!

House was ok - the windows were super dirty though, which was a shame because the view is spectacular. Deck was dirty, covered in pollen and dust, so couldn’t spend much time out there. We were super disappointed in the town as a whole because nothing was open! Restaurants and shops are still closed Mon-Thur, which was when we were there. Assumed that since it was spring break, that more would be open. As a result, we had to have most of our meals at the house. Spent lots of money to just sit and watch Netflix all week! 🙁

Wonderful Peaceful Vacation

We had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful home with a gorgeous waterfront view from both the outdoor deck and indoor family room. A very comfortable and modern home that was very well appointed. The kitchen had all the amenities necessary for cooking meals. The hosts were very helpful and provided excellent communications that helped make it an easy place to find, stay, and relax. We thoroughly enjoyed the natural beauty of Orcas Island, and the tranquility of our accommodation. We hope to return someday soon.

Ocean View - Close to Moran State Park

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this property and its location around the corner from Rosario Resort and Moran State Park. Rosario is a pickup point for Shearwater and Deer Harbor - sea kayaking and whale watching 5 min away! Views from property are spectacular although no beach access. Well equipped kitchen and 15 min from Eastsound grocery stores. We fell in love with Mountain Lake. Wonderful loop trail for walking/running followed by a swim in the lake.

Perfect Vacation Home

We stayed for a week in this lovely vacation cabin overlooking Orcas Sound. It was very quiet here, broken only by the occasional sound of a landing float plane. The cabin is equipped with everything one might need - from the kitchen to the bathroom and bedrooms. The wi-fi and TV systems worked flawlessly. The deck is very spacious and the views spectacular. We even had an occasional visit from an unafraid forked horn buck, still in full velvet - beautiful. The cabin is within easy reach of anywhere on the island and we explored it from end to end. Really nice hiking trails at Obstruction Pass State Park. Would definitely stay here again if visiting the island.

Peaceful Home with Beautiful Waterfront Views

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect location for relaxing, enjoying the scenery, and bird watching. Beautiful home!

We loved staying at this house near Rosario Resort and Eastsound. The home was beautifully designed with gorgeous water views, clean and well equipped. King size bed was firm and comfortable with nice linens, very nice towels in bathrooms. We would definitely stay here again.

Magical Stay

Island Myth is a beautiful, cozy place. The views are amazing, and we sat by the fire, looking out the windows much of the time on our stay. We truly relaxed there. We had everything we needed, with a fully stocked kitchen, and the beds were so comfortable. We walked down to Rosario, and loved that we were so close to Moran State Park! Highly recommend!!!!

We had an amazing time on the island for a long weekend! The property is beautiful, well maintained and equipped. Close to downtown area (eastsound) and to Moran state park. The view from the deck and from inside the house is unbelievable, so spend time soaking it in!

Our first morning greeted us with a pink/rosy dawn tinging a glorious, indeed enviable view of the water as we drank our first cup of coffee, with a warm fire keeping us snug. A short drive to ‘the town of East Sound or Rosario Resort occasionally beckoned, affording us quality coffee or cocktails as desired. But really, why leave this comfortable and well appointed home once you have enough food and beverages at your disposal?

Large Deck with views of the water

The best part of the property is the deck. We loved the views of the water watched numerous boats, sea planes and birds. Large Lot with deer and birds visiting often. The house is comfortable with one king bed and two single beds in the nook above the garage more for kids than adults. You can walk down to Rosario harbor and the resort in a few minutes. About a 15 minute drive into Eastsound downtown area.

Second two week visit

Our 2 weeks this July was our second stay at Island Myth. Obviously we enjoy it very much. Great location – quiet but near enough to many activities, restaurants, Eastsound, etc. Great for a couple. Or for parents with small children – the smaller bedroom is a loft. A place for real relaxation, or as a base for Orcas daytime adventures all over the island. Would rent again for sure.
