I thought that I had booked a room with two separate beds and was not happy to be told on arrival that it had a double bed. However, it was actually a triple room with an excellent sofa bed. Pleased to have a bidet and umbrellas to borrow when we went out for breakfast in the rain the next morning. Very close to main tourist attractions. Room to leave bikes in the communal area.'

'This was by far the best hotel we have stayed in. Concierge was so friendly efficient and helpful. Full of recommendations for excellent restaurants. We were upgraded unexpectedly but know if we had not been we would have been equally delighted. The building is beautiful and full of history, the bed and bedding were exceptionally comfortable. We will come again i am sure . The little Bar in the square was delightful. We were right by the Mesquita but it was so quiet! Would give far more than 5...

'Excellent hotel in the heart of the old city. We stayed three days, didn’t use our car once, everything worth to see is at walking distance. The hotel is superb, and the Roman bath beneath the hotel are a pleasant surprise!'
