'It is a nice and clean little hotel in the center of Ravenna. Very close to everywhere you want to be. Everybody there was very friendly and helpful. It is not chic but neat and the price is right! The breakfast was a little limited (not the selection that you might expect in big hotel), but worked perfectly fine. The bed was perfectly comfortable. The temperature in the room was good. All and all I had a very good experience staying there!'

'This is an unique place, an old house with many stairs, so be warned. Walls full of paintings and drawings, many different kind of furniture and all together with a most charming athmosphere. As charming as the people working there. '

'Very convenient for the railway station and walking into the city. Hotel with helpful staff, although it’s very basic. Breakfast was average. Lots of processed foods, but coffee was fresh! We chose this hotel as we were using the trains to arrive and depart from Ravenna. Unfortunately, the area is quite run down with many dubious characters hanging around. Certainly avoid the area of Speyer Garden directly opposite the railway station.'

'Our stay at Albergo Cappello was excellent! We were there for just one night before boarding our cruise out of Ravenna. The room was nice, very cozy, and the personalized breakfast was wonderful. The staff took great care of us, even helping us change our shuttle to pick us up from the hotel instead of the nearby train station so we wouldn't have to lug our suitcases in the rain. I was very impressed with the hospitality. Did not have chance to try their wine bar but would in the future.'

'Exceptionally spacious room for families is a few floors up, but worth the effort of climbing stairs. The two large rooms share a bathroom, but also include a dining table with chairs and plenty of seating and lounging spaces to feel right at home. Location is superb for mosaic exploration and the staff was kind to let us in a bit earlier than anticipated. Airport and cruise port transfers were timely and reasonably priced. Breakfast and coffee was delicious and very convenient. If we are able...
