'We had a wonderful time while in Quito due to our host, Hernan, suggesting local sites and activities. The room included a delicious homemade breakfast with local food and juices. We are looking forward to a return visit. '

'The hotel has a lovely pool, hot tub, as well as a sauna and eucalyptus steam room that is perfect after long hike into the scenic mountains that surround Vilcabamba. The staff is super gracious and accommodating and the breakfast included with the room is delicious and abundant.'

'We loved it here. Such an amazing place. It’s remote, but the signage was good and our driver found it. Probably best to get there during the day. We took a chocolate making class and went on the night walk in the jungle. It is an eco resort, so don’t expect hot showers, which is usually a deal breaker for me. But the place was so nice we were very happy we stayed here. '

'The owners Roberto and Karen are absolutely wonderful. They offer amazing activities for a great price. Breakfast is included but lunch and dinner are available for a great price on site. The food is wonderful. There is a large pool that is great to swim in. The roads in the area are great for running and walking. The place is situated in a lovely area. '
