Hi Mary - We are very clear about the check in and check out times, and the hours of the pool and hot tub access. As you mentioned, we allowed you and several guests to check in early. EVERY guest we host is important, and they are all entitled to a clean, comefortable space available to them at the time they habe booked. It simply isn't fair to other guests for you to overstay your visit - which is what you all did. Your booking was for a small group of people, and you elected to invite many more people without asking to come and have a pool party - while that can be arranged in advance, there are insurance requirements and fees to do so - this isn't something we can waive just for your visit - explaining that doesn't make someone impolite. Unfortunately, your party did not follow our basic rules - and left nasty food items and used sanitary products in the sleepover space where no food is allowed, broke several pool floats, and spilled substances throughout the property - which is why we ask that an adult chaperone underage guests. As you note, you were aware of the damage via photos provided to you via message - but elected not to accept responsibility and I ate the cost of the extra cleaning and replacement items. Your daughter and her friends obvioulsly had a blast - and that is great - we love to share our home with people who enjoy and respect it. It is a pleasure for us to do so.
