'Our reservation was over July 4th weekend. Apparently, they overbooked their king rooms, so we were notified one day before we arrived that they changed our room. 'It is ancient but very well maintained. All the furniture and fixtures looks like it is from the 1950s or 1970s - the building looks to be built of concrete or blocks with a brick exterior. Only about 20 rooms. Room is large and has a tiled bathroom with a toilet that looks like it would swallow the Titanic. Everytthing works and the bed is the best one of the three recent - firm, etc. It does have Wi-Fi and cable TV, the usual microwave and mini-Fridge. Even the parking spaces are set up for...

'Ice and clean hotel!'

'We stayed at this location because of the wineries nearby. Both the hotel website and the Debonne winery website advertised free shuttles to and from the winery. The website was clear that the shuttles were daily and complimentary. When we got there we were told first that there weren’t shuttles, and later that there was one going at 4:30, for $39 a person!!! It all felt very sketchy. The hotel itself was fine and the breakfast was solid, but if you are looking for a winery shuttle or helpful...

'Booked and paid through Expedia. When checked in obviously had to put down security deposit. When checking out I noticed two pending charges from the hotel and just left it alone assuming they both would fall off. One did not come off. Contacted hotel to resolve and got no resolution so has to file dispute with bank. Other than that it was fine.'

'It is an older property and lower priced than surrounding hotels with amenities. It was perfect for my needs, Not fancy, but clean and helpful desk manager.'

'It was easy access to get to everything close by. The rooms were very quiet and had ac. The room seemed clean, but we did have bugs in our room. I think it was because of the ac unit. The staff was very friendly. And we like the fact that it had a pool. My only complaint is the pool could have been a little cleaner.'

'Bedding worn and tattered. Bathroom floor and tub not clean. Tub had a slimy feel to it. Gross.'

'Owner operated, wonderfully cared for. Quite setting setback a couple hundred yards from the road. Big yardspace, deer wandering about.'

'They had issues with the plumbing. There was water and sewage in both our rooms and the hallway. They had problems when we were checking in and they should have notified everyone and not rented out the rooms.'

'Great for solo travelers. Everything you actually need, and anything else you want is close by. Good location near the strip where the bars and reastaurants are. Pool was warm and clean. Had some issues and they helped resolve them as well as being quick to respond when I accidentally locked everything in my room and had to communicate through some kind strangers. I will be a regular guest there in the future.'

'This is a roadside stop. They were understaffed and it really showed. There were major stains on the carpet in our room. The shower head was loose from the wall. The ice machine definitely needed a cleaning. The sheets and towels seemed clean. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked. The staff that were there were very nice and doing their best to keep everything going. Take your chances with this one!'

'I loved everything about our stay. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and we loved the shower. The pool was great with seating right outside next to the pool. The breakfast was amazing!! Everything was perfect!! Even the location was within walking distance to several restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel.'
