Hi, If you were our guest due to stay one night in August. I'm so sorry however you need to bring this up with Expedia who booked the room. On our booking page, it says we cannot accept check in after 10pm. It says it again in your confirmation. We contacted Expedia at 10pm to say you were not here and they refused to contact you or could not contact you. We left a note on the door for you to call my mobile. So, quite frankly , we did what we could, We don;t like to work that way, it is completely unprofessional and if Expedia work lie this, then we are not suited to each other and we have therefor terminated our contract. hope you found somewhere to stay as we warned Expedia you would be calling to look for somewhere and they should find you a place, Please believe , we did everything.

Hi Susan, Glad you liked the room, I guess beds are down to individual preference, Some prefer soft, some hard. Breakfast we would have been able to tell you in advance if you had preferred to have known. Breakfast is £12 per person and includes fresh orange juice, tea/coffee ( proper coffee! ) , homemade muesli, fresh fruit, yoghurt along with delightful preserves with toasts. I guess one coffee at starbucks costs cost £3 ! ) And all in a lovely private room. Served by our lovely staff too which we thank you for mentioning. I know you know what was for breakfast but just to clarify for people reading your review.
