Mooi appartement in het centrum van Edinburgh

Carlton Terrace, ontworpen door de architect William Playfair in het midden van de 19e eeuw, maakt samen met de aangrenzende Regent en Royal Terraces deel uit van de prestigieuze wijk New Town in Edinburgh.
Dit comfortabele appartement met één slaapkamer in Carlton House is onlangs gerenoveerd en ingericht. Gelegen op Carlton Terrace, een van de meest elegante geplaveide straten van Edinburgh, ligt dit appartement op de tweede (VS derde) verdieping op een toplocatie voor de bezienswaardigheden in het centrum van de stad, evenals de beroemde uitkijkpunten zoals Calton Hill en Arthur's Seat. De Royal Mile en Princes Street liggen beide op slechts 10 minuten lopen.
De ligging van het appartement aan de achterzijde van het gebouw zorgt voor privacy, rust en een op het zuiden gericht aspect.
Let op: dit is een rookvrij appartement.
Houd er ook rekening mee dat er 2 trappen zijn om het appartement te bereiken en er geen lift is, dus het is mogelijk niet geschikt als u ouder bent of ademhalingsmoeilijkheden heeft.

Lokale omgeving: als je de voordeur van Carlton House uitloopt en London Road Gardens tegenkomt, is het moeilijk te geloven dat je op slechts 5 minuten lopen van het levendige restaurant- en uitgaanscentrum van East End van Edinburgh bent. Het Playhouse Theatre, waar de nieuwste musicals en shows worden opgevoerd, duurt 5 minuten. lopen en Harvey Nichols en John Lewis warenhuizen liggen ook binnen 5-10 minuten. wandelen. Voeg nog 5 minuten toe. lopen en u bereikt het winkelgebied Princes Street en George Street.

Parkeren: Parkeren op straat is op Carlton Terrace op afgemeten basis mogelijk van 08: 30-17: 30 ma-vr maar met max. verblijf altijd 4 uur. Buiten deze tijden is parkeren gratis. U bent vrijwel altijd verzekerd van een plek direct buiten het pand.

We had a wonderful stay at this flat in Edinburgh! The location was absolutely perfect, within walking distance to many sights, restaurants, and shops. Quality Edinburgh flat

Quality fittings make this flat a pleasure to stay in. From the Denby pottery to the beautiful prints and comfy bed, it has everything you need to make the stay enjoyable and with the added benefit of views to Arthur’s Seat. Mark was a pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend staying here. **Note: there is NO on-street parking during the day in Edinburgh without a permit, unless you want to move the car every 4 hours (except on weekends when parking is not metered). Given that the flat is 30-40 minutes walk into the Old Town, moving the car is not really feasible. The only option is a multi-level at £26 per day.

Elegant, Comfortable & Convenient

Marks apartment is one of the nicest we have stayed in for a number of reasons. It was not furnished cheaply or with castoff furniture, dishes, art. It felt like you moved into someone actual home. The apartment was spacious, well stocked & everything worked well. We wanted for nothing. A shout out about the foam pillows as they were the best of our travels though Mark had another option as well. The location is close to food, wine & beer shops as well as bakeries. You do have to carry your luggage up 3 flights of stairs. If you don’t mind walking Old town is a 20 minute walk away & New Town is even closer. Our son & family lived 2 minutes away which was very handy for the late walks home. We hope to rent here again when we return to Edinburgh & recommend you rent it as well.

The apartment is fantastic. The photos really don’t do it justice. The rooms are large, beautifully furnished with gorgeous period features. It is superbly well equipped and extremely comfortable. Edinburgh is a stunning city but it will require summoning all your resolve and determination to leave the apartment each day. The location is also excellent - equidistant (about 5 mins walk) from the start of Princes Street and the Royal Mile. We loved our stay and Mark was a superb host responding to queries really quickly. We cannot wait to return!

Edinburgh Elegance

Ive stayed in many rentals up and down the country and not many have stopped me in my tracks and made me say WOW in the way this apartment did, Mark's property is really elegant, decorated and furnished with a beautiful style. It is comfortable well equipped and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom was spacious with ample storage, the kitchen was well supplied with appliances,the lounge was so comfortable a real lovely sofa to sink into in the warm room, a bonus is a bath in the bathroom not just a shower, to soak the bones after a good walk around the city. The apartment is located in a quiet block and a quiet corner of the city, just 10 minutes pleasant walk to the bustling centre. We hired a car for 3 days and had no problems parking in the evening free after 5.30pm, being mindful payment was required during the day to park outside. Mark was a very discreet host answering any questions promptly and checking our stay was ok. We certainly would stay again. After reading my Review if you go ahead and book I'm sure you will not be disappointed
