Thank you for leaving your review. We understand you had a problem with our reception opening hours from 8am to 11pm 7 days per week. We have looked through all of our websites and can see that this is stated on all sites, so I d like to apologies if you miss understood this and we re sorry you didn t bring this to our attention when you checked in and this was also explained to you. We also understand that you did however contact our after hours team many times during the night and all of your calls were accepted however we were unable to fix your personal mobile phone for you at such late times. We also understand you asked for a member of staff to be here for you at 7am which was arranged and you also organised to have breakfast before our kitchen was open which we also organised for you. I m Sorry to hear you didn t enjoy your stay with us. Our building is an older building which is part of our charm, with large winding staircases high sealing s and all of the older features that should be kept in a period listed building, therefore lifts would never be an option, and as we are only on 2 floors with one set of stairs we generally never have a problem with guests walking up one flight, however for those guests that do they can easily request a ground floor room. Our windows have all been recently resealed to make sure there are no drafts in the rooms and to keep them nice and warm so they can be a little firm to open but they do all open as this is checked regularly and are all opened during morning cleaning to air the rooms. The night porter has a number of duties to take part of during the evening and may not always be on reception, so guests are given the night porters number if the need any assistance, which is why we ask guests when they are arriving so that if they are late we can arrange something for them
