'We booked in for one night as we were attending a friends wedding. Lovely welcome as we went in and shown to our room. Had a drink from the bar before the Taxi collected us & took us to the wedding venue. Breakfast was lovely and made to order.

'The Punchbowl Inn was a lovely pub to stay at, the staff were very friendly, the food was amazing. The room was lovely and had a fantastic view of the dales. If I had to be picky it would have been nice to have a shower curtain or screen over the bath as using the shower head I tended to flood the floor, but the water was lovely and hot. and I would return again.'

Breakfast was a feast of locally produced sausages, bacon, eggs, black pudding and bread. I never eat black pudding but this was delicious so give it a try. Friendly owner was very helpful.'

Lovely clean single room (Room 5) with plenty of electrical sockets and very comfortable duvet and bed, great breakfast in the morning and friendly staff, what more can I say?
