Welcome to our charming vacation rental, “Ida Pfeiffer,” in Eibenstock! Our historic, landmark-protected house, dating from the mid-19th century, was once a school and later a popular restaurant that many locals still remember fondly. Ida Pfeiffer was the first woman to travel around the world alone and to write about her experiences. She lived during the 19th century, when the house was built.

The location is simply unbeatable! The swimming gardens and the ski slope are within easy walking distance. In winter, you can head straight to the slopes, and in both summer and winter, you can enjoy the swimming gardens. The trailhead for the cross-country ski trail is also just a 10-minute walk away. Just 10 minutes away, you’ll find “Wurzelrudi’s Adventure World,” which offers a ski slope with a chairlift and T-bar in winter, and lovely playgrounds and various sports activities in summer.

Right in the neighborhood, you’ll find two supermarkets and great bakeries, so you’ll always be well-stocked. In summer, an ice cream shop awaits you just down the street—the perfect refreshment for hot days.

We love to travel ourselves and want to offer our guests some of the things we’ve always particularly enjoyed. We want to provide you and your children with a welcoming and peaceful atmosphere. We want to give you the opportunity to prepare your meals in a small but well-equipped kitchen. We want you and your children to spend a restful night in comfortable beds so that you’ll have plenty of energy for your vacation activities.

The town of Eibenstock is a gem in the Ore Mountains, with its large, imposing church and lovingly restored Wilhelminian-style houses. Here, you can relax in the midst of a well-maintained and peaceful setting.

Eibenstock is surrounded by three drinking-water reservoirs, making the area a true natural paradise. By car, you can discover many other attractions and sights in just 30 minutes, including a fascinating space museum and an interesting mining museum.
