'Our first night sleep was interrupted by a broken fire protection pipe setting off the building alarm at 2AM. We stood outside for 1.5hrs. Luckily our room wasn’t one of the rooms that had water damage. We weren’t compensated for our inconvenience. The building is still under repair for some of the amenities. 'We booked the queen bed condo, but upon arrival we've found the bed so small (it really is!) we asked for a king bed. Because this is not a regular hotel but one with privately owned condo's we had to pay a lot for an upgrade. 'Pro: loved the updated modern furniture, appliances, tile - beds were clean & comfortable - no visible mold or mildew - easy drive to the beach that was very pleasant despite the damage from hurricane Ian Cons: would have liked to had a heads up about the yet unrepaired damage from the hurricane, the destruction & debris would not have been a shock that made for a bad first impression - no sidewalk to door, had to drag luggage through sand and rocks - outside needs some TLC - there was a dust...

'This was a wonderful place to stay, overall no complaints. some things eould have been good to know ahead of time for example we went for 7 days, there no spices available in the kitchen, that is chocker block full of dishes. the condo is located on the beach, but no broom and dustpan.. small things like that would have been helpful to know and have Small Amounts of soap and shampoo dishwasher pods (2). These are only small things. But would have been helpful to know to better prepare....
