'My first stay at a Marriott, I believe… The hotel is new and looks great. Room was light, luxurious and did, as promised, give a seaview, although is was from (very) afar. The location isn’t bad, but it’s not great either. Light sleepers; be warned! Traffic noise is an issue. Maybe better to have a room on the other side of the buidling or (really) high up. 'We stayed in Villa Trau d'oro on our travels through Croatia. It is a very nice accommodation with a beautiful swimming pool. We also loved the fact that we could park for free in front of the complex because parking in Trogir is not easy. Some features in our room needed improvement because of end-of-season, but co-owner Marija told us that they planned to upgrade these features during the winter. We really loved Trogir and Villa Trau d'oro and we can recommend it to everybody!'
