Extremely noisy and really old and not kept up. Skipped my morning shower because it was so disgusting. Would not recommend to anyone.

Do not stay here.
The room looked nothing like the pictures, the couch was broken, the room didn’t smell good, and the shower had black stains on the floor and zero hot water. Check out took too long because the guy was way in the back with his TV loud. His very young son (like 4) had to bang on the bell multiple times and yell at him to come to the front. The only good thing about this place was the bed - it al least was comfortable and clean. I do NOT recommend staying here.

Dear Philip, Guest feedback is always appreciated. We apologize for the incident that occurred during your stay which was out of our control. Unfortunately, another guest that was staying in a first-floor room did not adhere to our policies and began smoking in the nonsmoking room. This set off the fire alarm which is why the Fire Department and Police arrived on the scene. Luckily, no one was injured and we did our best to get all our guests settled comfortably after the incident. Hopefully, you enjoyed other aspects of your visit and we wish you all the best in your travels.

I walked into the room and there were someone else’s dirty clothes in the bathroom and old blood on the sheets. The stairs to go up to the room had three homeless people living under them. After I checked in I felt like I was being followed. I couldn’t stay both nights I had booked so I checked out first thing in the morning after the first night.

The Truth
Nicest people you will ever meet behind the counter, maybe in the world. Husband & wife team with a couple of boys run the place. They are a draw. Hotel Location couldn't be better. Too much stuff in walking distance to name. Highway right there as you unwind in the middle of everything. Sounds like the ocean late at nite. Rooms are all you need plus a Comfy bed.. 1 bad thing OLD TVS.. I rent these rooms to watch the games so didn't enjoy the tv viewing of that old technology. They should get some flat screens, don't have to be huge. But that would be nice.

Stale stench in the warn and frayed room was robust. Homeless living in the ditch by the pool seemed a courius touch. The noise level was impresive.

It looks like noone is taking care of the this hotel (no management) , swimming pool out of service, the TV was broken in my room, the furniture was worn, and there was a dead cockroach. The water comes out of the basin if someone took a shower. It was totally less than the expectations and for sure doesn’t deserve 130$ per night.

Picture posted are not of real room. Room had roaches, food on walls, dirty, broken shower. Leaking AC and sink. Staff judge mental. I am a nurse I work at night. Owner suggested I have alternative line of work. Not worths wasting my points and spending the money I did. Horrible will never stay there again. Drug led were being sold from 3 rooms down stairs from me as well.

The front desk clerk was friendly, the second I opened the door I saw a cockroach running across the room, the flooring, furniture, and the bathroom were old , the sheets looked dirty and old.

It's definitely 2.4 stars
I recommend this as a quick place to stay. I booked a queen and got 2 doubles. There were dead bugs in the bathtub. Holes in the walls. A dead bug in one of the paintings. It smelled like the room hadn't been cleaned before the last guests... definitely a last resort, cheapish place to stay.

You get what you pay for...
I have stayed at worst places than this, but this one needs my review since I think the 4-star rating is a fallacy. The hotel is owned from people from India. Does have fast internet wifi. The area is known to drug activity so park at your own risk near the Dennys. Shady people who reside at the hotel. One woman was trying to break into her room with her bicycle by trying to break the shatter proof window--before she was let in by the staff. Too noisy being close to the freeway, so I put on the A/C to drown out the noise.

Family trip to San Diego
We stayed here during our stay in San Diego it's about 20 minutes from downtown and there's a good selection of places to eat if you're willing to travel a few miles staff was nice but the room was a bit odd there was a skull and crossbones drawing with pencil on the door and in the bathroom the room is clean but they have regular box televisions no flat screens I'd say the worst thing about this hotel is the shower head and hit me and my wife like a jet stream that stung when you washed yourself other than that are stay was very good and peaceful a few sketchy people around but if I had to I would stay here again

This place is a cash-cow for its owner. It doesn’t look like its ever been remodeled since the 1960’s or 1970’s. It still has the original aluminum framed single pane windows. Worse is that I paid $200/nite for a $70/nite room cuz it was a holiday weekend.

Great hotel at a great value! Very friendly staff, nice clean, spacious rooms, comfortable bed, microwave, refrigerator, etc. Quiet at night for a good sleep! all in all a terrific hotel at a terrific price.

Hotel is like a $50 hotel..... in a bad area

Falling apart. The only thing that I liked about this place was the person that checked us in and out. They were very nice. The room was so old and run down. The smoke alarm was laying on the dresser. The shower door looked like it was going to fall off. There was a hole in the wall behind the toilet. Broken and cracked tiles on the outside of the shower. It says pet friendly on Hotels.com but it was not. It's $150 if you try and sneak in a pet (That's what the sign said) so we had a cat that we couldn't keep there. I had to board her at the vet for 2 nights because of the incorrect information. It was easy access to the freeway so that was nice except for the freeway noise all night long. Our choices were limited since Comic con was in town and lots of hotels were booked.

Expected a lot more out of this hotel, for the amount of money I spent for 1 night $150. I believe it should have been a $50-60 room. The whole room just seemed run down and needed a lot of work to it. I thought I was in the hood. I was embarrassed for my girlfriend.

Not comfortable at all.beds were very hard . Air conditioner did not work. I booked online and then called because they said they had roll away beds,availible. I checked in late in the evening because I was busy at my child's competition. The people from the front desk called be 4 times wanting to know when I was checking in. When I arrived at 9 p.m they told me they had no roll away beds and then charged me more

Exactly what I expected. Older property right off interstate. Clean but not updated recently. Rooms are clean but show age and wear. Right next to interstate so traffic noise is constant but not terrible. Front desk service was outstanding. Little about the immediate area is appealing, residential area, not a lot to see. Gas station convenience store close, easy interstate access, Denny's shares the parking area and was one of the better Denny's I have been in. Overall this is exactly the type of motel I like, inexpensive, convenient, and good attentive service if needed.
