The facility is clean. It would be nice to see a designated bin for guests to place recyclables. The best part of this hotel is Sherry who works the front desk. Initially there were some concerns with my stay, Sherry, in my opinion, went above and beyond her job description and was able to alleviate any issues. Its evident that she truly cares about the guest experience and her overall demeanor exudes excellent customer service.
There is a training opportunity for some other employees, who seemingly strive to follow the rules and do their job however, as it is in any business, sometimes the #1 priority "The Guest Experience" ends up taking a back seat when mixed in with the minutiae of the overall task(s) requirements.
I have 30+ years in the customer service industry and it is my personal opinion that Sherry would make an excellent trainer/team leader for existing and any future employees at this establishment.
With her enthusiasm and what i see to be an inate ability to lead by example, the overall guest experience will not only surpass a 'good' guest experience but elevate that same experience into an 'exceptional' one.
A pleasant hotel stay provided by a well trained, customer service oriented employee, will result in repeat customers, from a desirable demographic, contributing favorably to their business model.
