Too hot and noisy
The atmosphere was really nice, but the night was very uncomfortable. The heating was on and couldn’t be turned of. The room was an oven and very noisy. I really liked the place but slept horribly.

Friendly hostel, good rooms and helpful staff
The hostel is just out of the city center (10 min walk from bus terminal) and has nice rooms, both dorm and private. The rooms are large enough (closet somewhat small though) and the en-suite bathroom is fine. Breakfast was also ok for Argentinean standards. Staff is helpful in arranging excursions (alternative Perito Moreno tour is good!) and transport, and prices for these are good. Would recommend for short stay in El Calafate.

Pictures don’t quite make justice to the place. Good size room and so was the bathroom, bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful, they even helped us book some tours to the glaciar park and other activities. Location was great, walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops in town. Breakfast was okay and they don’t have a/c (which is not needed if your visit is during the cool temperature months)

Muy recomendable, bien ubicado sencillo pero muy comodo. Cabe destacar el buen servicio, el personal se empeña en que tengas una buena estancia y disfrutes de tu viaje. Se agradecen tantas antenciones.

Overall it was good, the only thing was the twin bed request that hadn't been taken into account but was fixed in the hour. And we had to wait for an extra day for the laundry, hopefully we had some spare clean clothes.

Very nice, helpful staff, clean, great area close to downtown. Laundry service convenient and reasonably priced. As of January 2024 some construction going on during the day.

Não voltaria
Bom o atendimento na recepção. A localização é muito boa, no início da avenida mais movimentada e charmosa da cidade. Café da manhã com poucas opções. Aliás, gostaria de entender o limite de um ovo por pessoa. Nunca tinha visto isso. Prefira quartos afastados da recepção em razão do barulho. No banheiro só há lugar para pendurar uma toalha, ficando difícil resolver sobre uma segunda, que era nosso caso. Mas o banho é bom. O quarto é muito pequeno. Tem uma cama “queen” com um colchão muito duro. Possui cofre, mas não tem frigobar, nem TV. Um móvel com três cabides para pendurar roupas e três pequenos espaços para colocar roupas dobradas é o que tivemos para resolver as malas. Em resumo: extremamente desconfortável. Como tínhamos chegado de uma viagem desde Torres de Paine (cerca de 5 horas de carro), e não tínhamos nenhuma programação para o dia, resolvemos ficar no bar do próprio hotel (Casa de los Pioneros). Quando chegamos a ele, por volta das 20:00, fomos informados de que o bar não funcionaria porque o responsável estava enfermo. Só vimos o bar aberto na nossa última noite. Em resumo, acredito que o custo, equivalente a US$ 150 a diária, é alto demais para os poucos benefícios oferecidos. Não voltaria.

No es Hotel.
Lindo lugar. Pero no tiene, calefacción, las camas son duras como hostel, no tiene ningún tipo de servicio de comidas excepto desayuno continental. El staff muy bueno a pesar que nuevo pero no compensa para hacerlo hotel. Sin bar ni room service ni ayuda botones no competa para llegar a hotel.

El personal es muy amable y la ubicación es buena, a solo un par de cuadras de tiendas y restaurantes. El hotel es muy básico pero funcional, si lo utilizas como base está bien, pero quizá para una familia con niños no sea la mejor opción.

Great place to stay to visit the Glaciars
Hotel is well - located. Breakfast is Excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. They will exchange currency at Front Desk. El Calafante is mostly a Base for your daily excursions. This lodging is well-suited and more than adequate for this purpose. Upscale lodgings are available in this City - but are unnecessary- unless you've "got to have it"

街のメイン通りに面していて立地が非常に良い。部屋は狭いが清掃は行き届いており、床暖房が入っていて快適に過ごせる。朝食も最低限のものが揃っている。スタッフは総じて親切。世界的に有名な観光地なので宿泊費がやや高い印象はあり。

Personal Excelente. Todo limpio. Lugar bonito y rustico. Las escaleras de la habitación eran pequenas y resbalaban, todo un peligro. A pesar que eramos adulto, mi hijo resbaló, lastimandose fuertemente su pie .

El hotel es muy típico de la zona su personal súper amable, nos dieron recomendaciones de alimentos y fue muy buena, limpieza muy buena. Y el único inconveniente es que su cama es dura y en lo particular me desagrado.

Great location and staff
Fantastic location, really central for town and pickups which you can't fault, relaxed vibe and really helpful reception staff. The breakfast was okay but had an early start which was handy. Our room was showing signs of wear and tear but were made up daily. You could hear a lot of noise from the walkways which started early given folk were off and away on excursions - take earplugs.

The experience with the hotel glaciar libertador was very good. Carlos working at the reception of this hotel was very helpfull and very nice. He advised and arranged for me the different activities I could do in El Calafate and around (Los glaciares Spegazzini, Upsala, Perito Moreno) at reasonable prices. The room was clean and breakfast was good. I definitely recommand this hotel !

Pleasant hotel in great location. A lot of small things missing. Minimal space for storage and no hooks for hanging towels, etc. A few more $$ towards what you'd normally find in a hotel would make this place excellent.
