'It was so-so but not expensive... The breakfast was decent. Many pastry options, eggs, juices, fruit. We had dinner the first night, pizza and pasta - neither was good but to be fair the pizza was consistent with what we saw at other places so maybe that's how they like it (3x cheese, little sauce, finger think sausage). First week of April it was just above freezing outside. The room had radiator heating which was too hot and dry. The first thing I did was turn it off and open the window...

'Don Pepe is a small hotel which is a bit out of the center. Waterpressure is not constant so showering is not very comfortable. Because the constitution of the hotel you can really hear everything that happens especially during breakfast its impossible to sleep because the diningroom in right in your hallway you can hear anything. Breakfast is very very poor! I would not recommend Don Pepe.'

'I arrived solo at I Keu Ken Hostel on my first night in Argentina/Patagonia. Met great people there to hang out with. I was only there one night and it was definitely nice to arrive at a friendly hostel. The woman at the check-in desk (I forgot her name but she was from Costa Rica) was a gem. So nice, funny, and welcoming. She also made a dinner reservation for us at her friend's restaurant. He makes meals for local in his home! It was such a beautiful experience.'

'Let's start with saying that this hotel is good value for money and the views over Lago Argentino are great. The location allows you to walk to the town center in 35 to 40 minutes, but a taxi only cost 2000 ARS. The rooms are a nice size. Ours had an extra 1 person bed, but some also have a sitting corner. Unfortunately we didn't get one of the rooms with balcony, although the strong prevailing winds probably would lessen the use. The bathroom was also a good size. Unfortunately there is no...
