'The location of the hotel is very nice and somewhat remote. The hotel has its own private bay with beach. The sea is very wild, not wild enough to surf but dangerous to swim in! Last week someone drowned here. We spoke to a number of local people and these indicated that people drowned here regularly. The Hotel is built against a mountain, not suitable for less-abled people. There is no communal pool available. Please note when you're booking a room. We booked a room in low season without a pool...

'This was our second stay here. We came back as it is the place to go if you go to San Juan Del Sur and want to relax and be away from the busy life of town AND there is a beach nearby. Has a Mama Mia vibe to it. Perhaps we were off season, but the food was not as good as our first visit. I kept being promised they would have the peanut butter chocolate bars “tomorrow”, but these delicious bars I enjoyed last time never materialized. I think next time we will try a different place.'

'I really had a nightmare with the reservation through Expedia. They book a house for me that was not available by the time I got to the hotel. I got notice that the house we book the luxury house with the pool was not available and was never available. The facility did their best to accommodate me in my family and one of the small condo what I have learned to not book through Expedia instead book through the page of the hotel otherwise you might walk into the same issue.'
