La Restinga is a charming fishing village on the southern coast of El Hierro, known for its peaceful atmosphere, volcanic landscapes and crystal-clear waters. The village is home to a sheltered black-sand beach, a picturesque harbour and a selection of restaurants where guests can enjoy fresh local fish and traditional Canarian cuisine. The surrounding waters form part of the Mar de Las Calmas Marine Reserve, making La Restinga one of the island's best-known areas for diving, snorkelling and discovering its rich marine life.

Beyond La Restinga, guests can explore the dramatic volcanic scenery of southern El Hierro, including the El Lajial lava formations and the scenic viewpoints of Tanajara and Las Playas. The natural pools of Tacorón are also nearby and are particularly beautiful for enjoying the coastline and watching the sunset. For a deeper insight into the island's history, El Julan archaeological site is another interesting place to visit, while the wider island offers hiking trails, traditional villages and spectacular landscapes to discover.

The property is easily accessible by public transport and by car.

The nearest major airport serving the area is El Hierro Airport (VDE), about a 20–25‑minute drive from the property.

From El Hierro Airport, you can take a bus or taxi to La Restinga.

You can enter the accommodation at any time after 15:00. Early check-in can only be arranged on request. If you need it, please send us an email.
