'We stayed in a cottage at Tenaya Lodge for two nights and we liked it. The room is the cottage was spacious and clean. We had access to a sitting area just outside the cottage which was nice. The cottage turned out to be a room in a 3-room cottage. It was still very nice but I actually expected an independent cottage based on my booking. This could be made a bit clearer on the site. The main lodge (walking distance from the cottages) has a beautiful and spacious lobby. There are two swimming...

'The front desk staff is extremely unfriendly and are not interested in helping with anything at all. We had 2 separate reservations for 2 nights ( back to back) under the same name - had to check out and check back in as they said that they are fully booked and can not accommodate keeping the same room for 2 nights. It was extremely painful to take all the luggage to the front desk to keep it until we come back from Yosemite, but more surprisingly, when we checked back in - it was the same...

'Danny, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful. The information provided about the house was timely and made our check in and check out seamless. Danny even had a kitchen item, that we needed, delivered within a couple hours so we could cook our Thanksgiving dinner. The game room is amazing. The house was super clean and the house was wonderfully decorated. I would recommend this house, we had a wonderful stay. '
