'Kitchen is downstairs. No cooking in rooms. No AC just fans. Started getting hot in April already 90. You can cool off in the pool, which they keep clean. I stayed in the apartment with living room, private bathroom and separate bedroom. I ask for my cleaning man days and Thursdays. Showers are cool not hot. Very nice. '

'First, let me start this review by saying that my wife and Children were so impressed by everything, we were unable to find a single thing that could be improved upon. The breathtaking view was the first thing we noticed and continued to admire throughout the 3-night stay. You can see lake Nicaragua and the enormous volcano from the hotel which sits atop some high ground. 'Very beautiful and historic hotel. Staff went absolutely above and beyond, they were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, pool was super nice and had lots of seating. One thing to note, is because of the historic nature of the hotel, there's not much for insulation/noise cancelling streetside. So if you have little kids, best to book an interior room if you go to bed early!'
