Historic Condo in the Heart of Downtown Elizabeth City

Enjoy the vibes of city living in a quaint, historic town, also known as the “Harbor of Hospitality”! This building was built in the 1920's & boasts original hardwood floors & exposed brick walls. You cannot beat the location of this VRBO—it’s in the heart of downtown Elizabeth City & just steps away from great restaurants, shops, & bars. It’s also one block from the waterfront! Enjoy your stay in this rare 2BR/1BA condo that was decorated by a local design company. 45 min drive to OBX & VA!

This is 2BR/1BA condo that has been decorated beautifully. It is has a fully-stocked kitchen as well as a laundry room with a washer and dryer. There is a separate area in the main living space that has an L-shaped desk, perfect for guests who are traveling for work and need a place for their laptop. The wifi code will be provided to guests during check-in. The living room is decorated beautifully, with a large couch, accent chair, and ottomans. Enjoy the 55' smart TV with YouTube TV that is accessible to all guests. If guests have their own login for other apps such as Netflix or Hulu, they can login with their own credentials . The dining area boasts an 8 foot table with benches. It can comfortably fit 6 but can seat up to 8 with two additional accent chairs that are used in the condo for additional seating. Enjoy the custom bar that was made for this space as well! The master bedroom has a king bed and the guest bedroom has a queen bed. Both also have dressers for storage and access to the closets. Enjoy the sunset view out of the windows that overlook Poindexter Street in downtown Elizabeth City. The bathroom has two separate vanities and a large shower/tub.

Make sure to check out the newest excursion in the Albemarle Area—“Harbor Towns Cruises”! There are currently 2 ferry boats that can transport you to other charming towns via the local waterways. A dinner boat is coming later this year (2024). Check out their website for additional information!

This is a private condominium, with several other residential units. There are no shared amenities for the building, only shared common areas that include the lobby and the stairwells. Our lovely historic building was also built in the 1920’s and has many original features—with that, it lacks some of the insulation that we are used to today. This means that you may hear neighbors above or beside you occasionally. You might also hear cars drive by outside. To reduce any noises for lighter sleepers, we have an industrial fan and also provide ear plugs/eye masks during your stay.

Excellent location to downtown restaurants, breweries, activities. Detailed instructions w pictures made easy access and stress free. The inside and furnishings had great character and beautifully appointed. Online pictures didn't do it justice, you need to see it for yourself.

The condo is adorable and comfy! Taylor was so easy to communicate with. We had everything we needed and then some. We walked over to the waterfront park and had a lovely dinner at Sagos. Loved watching the boats go by while eating. Seven Sounds Brewery across the street from the condo had a fun band and great outdoor space to hang out. I will be back!

If we could give 10 stars we would!!

The place is incredible but more incredible was the owners response to a foul up when we departed our home and my wife’s meds were left behind. The meds are taken 3X daily and were inadvertently left behind. Taylor was so responsive to our needs and offered to receive them FedEx overnight. We landed in Raleigh and ended up in the ER and after a 5 hour wait and another 3 hour drive we arrived to our VEBO at 2 in the morning and Taylor continued to check our welfare the entire time. I can give enough praise for the stay, the accommodations and the excellent service and response!!

Excellent Downtown Condo with Character

We really enjoyed our stay at this Elizabeth City condo. Excellent location. Easy walk to downtown restaurants and shops. The host provided clear directions for parking and accessing the property. The condo was very clean, comfortable, and well furnished. We usually stay at hotels when we are in the area, and this condo was a welcome change! We hope we can stay there again on our next visit.

Elizabeth City's motto is "The Harbor of Hospitality", which you will truly experience staying here. Mrs. Bradbury is prompt and clear with her communication with you through the entire process from booking to your stay to checking out. The condo is inviting and chic. Its location is optimal for exploring the Waterfront experience, through its local shops, restaurants, parks, and breweries. I will certainly be seeking to rent from Mrs. Bradbury again on my next trip through the Harbor of Hospitality.
