'I had a great experience staying at Helly. Staff was so so friendly and able to help with me with all my needs. Worth staying.'

'Vriendelijk personeel, kamers zijn op het eerste zicht proper maar badkamer is dringend toe aan een goede poetsbeurt. Douchekop zit onder de schimmel en wc pot was al in een hele tijd niet meer deftig gepoetst. Als je niets vraagt, weet je ook van niets betreffende mogelijkheden in de buurt of hotel. Maar dit is typisch Sri Likaans '

'Indran and John were so kind and helpful. They really made us feel at home. John''s cooking was delicious, the view from our balcony was spectacukar, and our room was clean and comfortable. We loved our stay at the Ella Alpine Resort.'

'Perfect stay in a more quiet area of Ella. You will be in the center shortly. The best thing about our stay was the excellent breakfast served on our private balcony with an amazing view. If we ever come back to Ella again…. This is the place we will stay!'

'Really beautiful view and lovely location, even with the occasional train passing by (if anything, it added to the charm). Very kind and helpful hosts, who loaned their umbrellas to us and accommodated our last minute change of breakfast time when we were running late from a morning hike. They also packed our breakfast to go when we checked out early on our last day. Walking along the train tracks is by far the best way to get to town and back in under 10 minutes. The paved road is quite windy...

'The view is supreme. The room is very clean and quite well-appointed for the class of hotel. The location is very near to town just up the way to its hilltop perch. A good walk or short tuk tuk ride . The staff were friendly and helpful and the WiFi was good. I had reason to contact the manager and he responded quickly to sort out my issue. I highly recommend Mountjoy Ella.'

'The Hotel all basic amenities , to explore the Ella city. Kishore was really helpful. The only problem was the noise in the night- The people from other rooms drinking and shouting in the midnight disturbing others. we were not able to sleep properly I hope owners will inform the guests in advance that they dont make noises'

'Great host and accommodated all our needs. Served fresh home made breakfast. Very clean rooms'
