'Cattail Cottage' is centrally located approx. 30 mins from Savannah, Pooler, and Statesboro (only 20 mins west of I-95). The cottage sits on an 8 acre estate which boasts a 1 acre stocked pond with dock. Enjoy catch and release fishing, a paddle boat ride, or just sitting back on the patio. PET FRIENDLY - Entire property is fenced. With its secluded and quiet atmosphere and cozy interior, this little cottage will make you feel miles away from the hustle and bustle while still being close!!! Cottage was spotless and elegantly decorated. It was a surprise that there was no kitchen but the rest of the property made up for that. Our “boys “ (dogs), loved the freedom of being outside without their leash for a couple of days.

Everything was wonderful - check in was easy, they were so nice and turned the lights on for us when we arrived late, the cottage was so cute and cozy, and our dog especially loved the outdoors. It was a short trip for us but we’d definitely recommend it to others!

We loved the place. We did not have enough time to hang out and enjoy the pond and peacefulness, as we were too busy trying to fit in some things downtown Savannah. But the place was very nice, the host was very nice, and they seem to think of everything.

This place was just a quick stop for us on our way to FL. It was super cute & clean and way better than any hotels nearby. They also allow pets and have plenty of room for them to run around and stretch their legs. We would definitely stay here again if we were passing through the Savanna area.

Such a Cozy Cottage for us!

We loved this cottage!! Perfect for us and our small dog. Gorgeously decorated and so very comfortable! We have stayed in many places and they look gorgeous but are not comfortable, this place was soooo comfotable! From the sofas to the bed and the luxury pillows! I immediately called my daughter to tell her to build a cottage like this for us to retire to!. Location was great for running into savannah. We explored the area and went to the Midway Mueseum and learned alot about the area! Would love to stay here again!. Perfect place for our littlw dog to roam around

Just what we were looking for

AMAZING EXPERIENCE

AMAZING!!! Everything was incredible. The check in process, communication, location (close enough to sights, but far away from the hustle). The property is amazing. The home is beautifully decorated and stocked with everything and anything one could need. My daughter had an amazing time riding the 4-wheeler, and I was able to relax by the pond by the sound of the waterfall. The host was amazing and very accommodating. Stars, quiet, and convenient to Savannah

Took a quick weekend with our teenage son. Dayle was proactive and responsive. Property was exactly as advertised. Guest house sits in the back of his large fenced property. It’s nicely decorated and very comfortable. If you’re looking for something a little off the beaten path, but still within 30 minutes of Savannah we would highly recommend.
