The first room I was given hadn’t been cleaned—there were dirty bed linens, Burger King bags and cups scattered around, and towels left on the floor. Thankfully, the front desk staff was very helpful and moved me to a clean room.
Booking through Expedia was also frustrating. I’m used to making online reservations, but the site made it unusually difficult to select the correct check-in and check-out dates. I intended to book a two-night stay, but it only reserved the first night. When I noticed the error, I called the front desk, and they advised me to call back the next morning—the day my stay was set to begin. I couldn’t reach anyone then, but when I arrived the staff had already arranged for the second night.
The new room was on the second floor, but the view overlooked the dumpsters, and there was loose trash along the back property line. While the staff was excellent throughout, the overall experience left a lot to be desired.
