Begane grond

Lopend naar Viewtopia (slechts 4 trappen naar huis vanaf de parkeerplaats) bevindt u zich in een grote grote kamer een muur van ramen, lederen meubels, een flatscreen-tv met dvd en satelliet-tv. Deze kamer is ingericht om te ontspannen en te entertainen met een open ontwerp, een eethoek, een open haard op gas en een groot uitzicht op de bergen. Vlak bij de grote kamer vindt u een grote veranda met comfortabele schommelstoelen en een picknicktafel om buiten te eten. De keuken deelt ook deze grote ruimte en is uitgerust met prachtige granieten werkbladen en roestvrijstalen apparaten. Vanaf hier is er een gemakkelijke toegang tot de overdekte achterporch en dekken die u verbluffend uitzicht op de bergen bieden, zowel dichtbij als gelaagd over lange afstand. De dagelijkse zonsopkomst wordt tijdens uw verblijf een afspraak bekijken!
Het instap / hoofdniveau heeft een kingsize slaapkamer en een complete badkamer met douche / badcombinatie en dubbele wastafels. Een gloednieuwe wasmachine / droger set bevindt zich ook op het hoofdniveau.

Boven

Een dramatische trap leidt naar een master bedroom suite met een groot uitzicht in twee richtingen - door de muur van ramen in de grote zaal beneden en via de overdekte privéveranda. Vlak bij de slaapkamer. Dit is misschien de beste plek in Georgië om de zonsopgang of de maan te zien opkomen met je favoriete drankje. Foto's doen echt geen recht aan het uitzicht! De suite heeft ook een eigen badkamer met bad en aparte douche plus dubbele wastafels.

Terras niveau

Trappen vanaf het hoofdniveau brengen u naar het terrasniveau. Hier vindt u een eigen derde slaapkamer met een comfortabel matras van volledige grootte. Dit niveau beschikt ook over een andere volledige keuken, complete badkamer met douche / bad combo en comfortabele tweede woonkamer met een flatscreen 4KTV.

Perfect Stay

My husband and I did a weekend trip up from Florida and are so happy that we decided to stay at Viewtopia. The cabin itself was well stocked and clean. We felt right at home once we walked in. The views are amazing! Great and peaceful location. Plenty of birdwatching and we even had deer out foraging in the yard during our stay. Host is very responsive and quick when you need him. We will definitely be back to this one!

Way more than I expected

My wife and I booked this cabin just for a getaway work trip. Change of scenery. I saw the pic’s and reviews online but, they did not do Justice for what we actually experienced. This was way more house than just my wife and I needed but, it made us not feel cramped at all. The views are just amazing. You can sit on the porch or in the hot tub and watch the sun rise over the mountains in the east. The 2nd level porch goes all the way around the house. The gas grill was very conveniently located and we used it just about every night. Inside, you have 3 levels to the house. The master is very large and has a deck of it’s own. The main level has the living area, kitchen and another bedroom. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need for a long stay. The lower level is a great place to send the kids. It has 2 bedrooms and a living area with a large screen tv. Now, the drive into town takes a minute so make sure you have what you need but, I think that’s why we rent cabins anyways so that we can get away. Just a beautiful place. We will be renting this cabin again.

Amazing Views!

Overall the place was amazing in/out! This trip was just me and my dog Luna and more than we needed but no regrets!! The only negative I could really give is access road in is a bit of a challenge but this is a mountainous area so an all-wheel or 4wheel drive vehicle would give you more confidence! I will definitely be coming back! As advertised and again the Views!! :)

A perfect escape!

My husband and I stayed at Viewtopia Cabin, and had an amazing, relaxing escape. The cabin is really beautiful, inside and out. We loved sitting on the porch, taking in the views, bird calls, and fresh pine scented air. We enjoyed the fireplace in the evenings, and on the one rainy day. It was perfect. The view is gorgeous, and wraps around the cabin, which is unique. Sunrises and sunsets, fog in the valley, with the mist rising...we were content to stay in and enjoy all that, but we did venture out to take some scenic drives. When it was time to come back to the cabin, we were happy to be back there! We will stay here again!

The most amazing experience

First I have to say we booked the cabin for the view and the fire place. Communication with everyone was excellent and prompt. We originally had planned to find different places to eat dinner every night but after the first few minutes in the cabin we through that out the window. We made dinner and ate on the porch every night and enjoyed the view. Coffee in the morning by the fire place and on the porch were unmatched. Hiking trails mid day and hitting the shore for dinner each night to get back and enjoy the property. It was so peaceful, comfy, and it felt like home. I wish this was my property ! Thank you so much for such a great time. We look forward to staying again in the future. Nick and Kaylee

Peace at Viewtopia

Best view we've ever had and we stay in BR quite a bit. We loved that there was plenty of room for the dogs to run around outside. The cabin was just beautiful, honestly went spent most of our time on that wonderful back porch. Again just an amazing view. Breathtaking

My gf and I recently stayed at Viewtopia on our first trip to the Blue Ridge area. The views of the mountains are absolutely incredible! The property is very well maintained and well stocked with everything needed for us to enjoy our stay. Everything was within a 30 minute drive, great hiking trails, Horseshoe Bend Park (my pup’s favorite), and stables for horseback riding. The host, Dave, checked in regularly and made us feel at home. Can’t wait to go back!

Winter escape

The view is amazing!! The master upstairs is great- bed was awesome. The bedroom on main floor and the larger one downstairs were really nice. It would be nice if the tv upstairs could be updated and larger. The drive up/down the mountain to the cabin was at first an issue but once we learned how to navigate it we could do it on our van. The kids loved the hot tub also. We could see the sunrises and sunsets so that was especially nice and beautiful! The manager was very helpful and took care of things as needed. He helped us up the mountain the first night which was a perfect storm for us- pitch black, rainy and front wheeled drive full van. He got us up without an issue. He tried to fix the fireplace -gas logs-for us but couldn’t get repairman out til after we were gone- he gave us a discount for not being able to have a fire. That was very nice. I would stay here again. The view was outstanding!

Amazing view! Beautiful house and so welcoming. They had snacks, wine, and even a bag of treats for our dog. The furnishings were comfortable and the wrap around porch was all enclosed so I felt safe letting my dog lose on it. The road up to the house is an adventure and my rav4 struggled a little but made it without 4 wheel drive. Communication was easy and kept us up to date with severe weather changes. I would recommend this property.

Amazing Views!

This home is near the top of a mountain with stunning views of mountains in Georgia and North Carolina! Our favorite pastime was to sit on the porch watching the hummingbirds come to the feeders and look into the uninterrupted mountain views. The home was incredibly clean and perfect for our 2 week stay. The porch wrapped around the entire house and was closed off which made it great for our dog. No worries of him running off! We liked the seclusion. We couldn't see another house. Lots of wineries and we hit as many of them as possible. lol We will definitely visit this cabin again. Located halfway between Ellijay and Blue Ridge made it easy to reach both towns. Thank you Dave for being only a text message away and responding so quickly with any questions we may have had. Love this home!

Spectacular View!

We enjoyed our getaway at Viewtopia. The house was very clean, well equipped and the views were amazing. I can't imagine what it must look during a snowfall. Brilliant stars at night, ever changing mountain views. Got up for sunrise one morning - simply stunning! Dave was a great host and so laid back. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and treats - such a nice touch. We really felt appreciated as guests which, of late hasn't necessarily been the case (we travel a lot). We did not get in hot tub - but it's huge! Beds were very comfy. The grounds were very well landscaped and beautiful. My only suggestion would be a fire pit for sure - for spring, fall and winter that would be amazing! Maybe a little more comfy cushions for the porch rockers and some alternative seating on front porch for the mornings. But it is really a beautiful home and we could tell the owners have really put a lot of love into it. Oh, and did I mention the hummingbirds??? WOW! Wonderful stay!

A Little Piece of Heaven

Viewtopia lives up to its name. My husband and I were there for a long weekend and did not leave the property at all. We watched the sunrises and birds (especially the hummingbirds), listened to the mooing cows, and appreciated not hearing cars nor seeing people. A wonderful rest - and our furry friend loved it, too.
