Deze hondvriendelijke hut ligt in de bergen van het Chattahoochee National Forest, direct aan Turniptown Creek. Het is gelegen in en nabij de hub van een gated community en beschikt over gedeelde voorzieningen, waaronder een zwembad, tennisbanen, een bibliotheek, mijl van wandelpaden en vier verschillende meren. Ontspan buiten op uw keuze van patio's / dekken en geniet in uw eigen bubbelbad terwijl u geniet van de rollende melodieën van de kreek met veel privacy van de buren. Aan de binnenkant geniet je van een bijgewerkt, gezellig decor bestrooid met antiek en originele kunst.



Wat is er in de buurt:

Als het je goed uitkomt, heb je geluk! Downtown Ellijay ligt op slechts 11 km van deze hut en biedt een aantal restaurants, winkels en fantastische antiekwinkels. Blue Ridge ligt op slechts 15 mijl naar het noorden en biedt nog meer winkel- en culinaire mogelijkheden. Er zijn ook tal van boomgaarden en wijngaarden binnen 20 mijl van deze locatie. Extra outdoor-activiteiten in overvloed in deze nek van het bos, waaronder raften, kajakken, wandelen, mountainbikeroutes en vissen. Neem je vlieghengel mee en je mag gewoon een forel of bas uit de kreek haken!

Right next to road/strong urine smell

When we pulled up to the property we were in a little shock as it looked like no one has been there in a while. The VERY first thing you notice is the road is literally right on the other side of the stream, you could throw a rock and hit the cars driving by. I didn’t go inside right away as I let my wife and friends out and I had to run back to the store a few miles away to get cell phone reception so I could change my voicemail so everyone would know I had no reception and to reach me by email since the house does have Wi-Fi. Every car that drives by can see you on the back porch, in the hot tub or inside the house, and there are not even ANY blinds or curtains to block people from seeing through ALL the windows on the back of the home. When I was coming back from store I could literally see everyone inside the living room clearly and probably could have seen a roach on the wall since that’s how close the road is to the house. Once I got back I finally went inside and immediately my wife and friends were looking at me in disgust and told me to come sit on the couch. I don’t have the best since of smell but once I got in the living room I could smell a very very strong urine smell. We lifted up the rug and noticed that it had stains all over the underside and the Smell of fermented urine slaps you in the face. The whole house also had that old stake house smell along with urine in the main areas. The air hockey table didn’t even have a good puck to play with.

Beautiful creekside property

Creek and property were beautiful. House interestingly decorated and serviceable. Some problems however: —-access code for gate was never sent. Had to call central office to get it —- property info stresses key lock box and location. Tried and tried to use lock code on it. Finally realized code was for door lock and lock box served no function — TV had list of channels. But we could only get streaming to work; no network. As we were leaving note hdmi cable was unplugged. Should have been checked before arrival. — we were asked to leave trash in outdoors can. This can did not exit So nice property and interesting home. Would stay there again but better communication is definitely needed.

Spring Stay

A quaint cabin on a beautiful stream. The cabin seemed old compared to other VRBO cabins that we have stayed in the north Georgia mountains. We had trouble getting the cabin door open with the codes provided. We had no cell service and had to drive a couple of miles from the cabin to contact the facility management company managing the property to get additional door codes and the code to the lock box that finally opened the door. The cleaning crew had not emptied the dishwasher and the counter still has sugar or salt laying on top of it when we finally got into the cabin. We did enjoy the large TV in the family room. We did have a relaxing stay listening to the creek.

The water flowing outside the cabin is so soothing

I loved the place. It was cosy but had its quirks. The beds so comfortable. The patio and verandah were calming. Two suggestions. We arrived very late . It was so dark that we missed the turn into the driveway, which is very steep several times. A solar light beside the house number would have made a big difference. Its a cabin not a house but several times the breakers tripped if we had say the oven, toaster and microwave going. But these were minor irritants. And when we needed assistance, the gentleman at the gatehouse and someone on the phone were helpful. The place has a wonderful relaxing vibe. I would stay again without hesitation.

Birthday party

The place is in a beautiful setting!! The check in procedures were not exactly what was listed on the site and conflicting instructions on key pas but did finally get in then the key code for the door did not work but called the number got an immediate answer and representative stayed with us until we were in the house. Driveway is troublesome for larger vehicles but smaller ones didn’t have any trouble at all. Mountains are gorgeous stream is cool and refreshing beds were comfortable and house was perfect for what we needed. Hot tub was warm and inviting will go again!

Nice location, Mildew smell alert

The home is in a great location to Elijay and Blueridge. The creek is quite cute. The dogs loved playing in the creek. The landscape needs a lot of work, Absolutely No sunlight to the home or porches. A lot of downed trees and overall landscape needs cleaning up. Do not attempt the driveway in anything other than a truck. Huge pot holes in the driveway and roadside edge. Difficult to navigate.Spiders and Cobb webs everywhere inside and out. The house had plenty of room. The main problem was a terrible moldy smell throughout the home. The main bathroom ceiling was covered in mold. The first thing we did upon arrival was go to the Walmart close by and purchase two large air purifiers in hopes of helping with the mildew smell. It did not. The many dehumidifiers were full of water by the end of every day. Other than the smell the accommodation were good. Linens were clean. Plenty of supplies in the kitchen. I honestly think with a little work this would be quite the hidden gem.

Great Property

We had a great time here. The house has so much to offer-foosball, air hockey for the kids + bunk beds. The 3 bedrooms are very nice and comfortable. Loved being by the creek and the sound of the water. Just minutes from Ellijay and the restaurants. Very cute decorations and modern kitchen. The hot tub looked very clean. The driveway is scary! Loved having morning coffee in the swing on lower porch, watching the water in the creek. Very relaxing-I'd recommend this property to everyone.

Nice family break

Had a nice stay . Kids loved playing in the river and in the play room. Will have to come back in fall when they allow fires. Did not like the driveway had to close my eyes and hold my breath so if you are not a confident driver maybe not for you.

Would Not Recommend

Property management Vacasa is non-existent. We left messages for a week prior to our visit with no response. Sent a a message while staying at home with no response. Mildew around bathroom sink, only one shower was usable, gas logs weren’t useable, although they were advertised in the listing, and couldn’t use the outdoor fire pit. These should have been noted in the listing not left for us to find when we arrived. Very disappointed in our stay.

Peaceful!!

Beautiful location, exactly the quiet peaceful getaway that we needed. Loved relaxing on the porches listening to the rushing waters. Nightly hot tub soaks were the icing on the cake!

Beautiful property and relaxing!

This spot was amazing!!! My family and I really enjoyed staying here and plan to come back again. We had fun with all the cabin's amenities including the foosball table, air hockey, and especially the hot tub! The best of all was listening to the beautiful rushing waters of the creek. I loved the wrap around porches and even sat outside most nights or if it was raining I sat outside in the screened in porch / sunroom. This cabin was the perfect spot for relaxing and unwinding! Stores and all were also in close proximity to the cabin. The Walnut Mountain community is absolutely beautiful! We saw deer and beautiful sites further up the mountain. The only negative was the steep driveway going down to this cabin. It was fine going driving in, but it was sometimes hard to get back up and out (especially with two vehicles). Definitely won't stop us from going back though! We can't wait to stay here again!
