Stuur uw boekingsverzoek om totale ontspanning te ervaren op 10 hectare met een "lawaaierige kreek" in de bergen van Noord-Georgië! Gunstig gelegen in het noorden van Gilmer County, halverwege tussen Ellijay en Blue Ridge.

Geniet van de 9-mijl kronkelende rit van Downtown Ellijay door de bergen naar Our Beloved Creek. Houd je ogen open voor dieren in het wild en watervallen. Wegen zijn allemaal verhard, behalve ongeveer anderhalve kilometer grind dat rechtstreeks naar de hut leidt. Wanneer u uit uw voertuig stapt, hoort u de stromende kreek aan alle kanten. Wacht tot je de natuurlijke schoonheid ziet!

Ontspan op de wrap-around veranda of in adirondack stoelen aan het water. Het rustgevende geluid van de kreek is hoorbaar vanuit elke kamer in het huis!

Onze hut is een op maat gemaakte blokhut met 3 niveaus en portieken in overvloed. Op de begane grond vindt u de woonkamer, eetkamer, keuken, slaapkamer met eigen badkamer, wasruimte en een apart half bad. Er is nog een slaapkamer, gedeelde badkamer en een zolder boven. De kamers zijn groot en comfortabel. De kelder op het terrasniveau is momenteel niet beschikbaar voor gebruik. We hebben alles wat u nodig heeft voor een aangenaam verblijf. Geschikt voor 6 personen.

Er zijn nieuwe kingsize bedden in elke slaapkamer en een futon op de zolder. We hebben voldoende beddengoed en kussens om je gezellig te houden, maar neem gerust je favorieten mee. U kunt voor elke gast 2 handdoeken, 1 handdoek en 1 washandje verwachten. We hebben een föhn in beide badkamers.

Verzamel rond de stenen open haard. Kruip op de leren bank of in een van de gezellige ligstoelen. De cabine heeft 4 flatscreen-tv's met DirecTV. Het hok is een perfecte plek voor de kinderen om games te spelen en films te kijken.

De keuken is volledig uitgerust voor de meeste maaltijden. Geniet van gerechten, bestek en glaswerk voor minimaal 8. We hebben alle apparaten (Keurig koffiezetapparaat, magnetron, broodrooster oven, kleine crockpot, koelkast, vaatwasser, gasoven en fornuis. Er is een grill op het achterdek.). Breng je eten, drinken en kruiden mee. Vergeet je koffiepads niet!

Secluded Paradise

We have stayed at this cabin multiple times and always look forward to the next trip. If you want peace and quiet, this is the cabin for you. Our Doberman loves playing in the creek on property and we all love walking the trail in behind the cabin. Roo Winery is right down the road and is dog friendly with amazing views. Laura is a great VRBO host and always addresses issue quickly. We can’t wait until our next stay!

Peaceful Place

I enjoyed this place Very clean and quiet. Plenty of space inside. 15 minutes from town but I recommend bringing groceries for food and drink. Great place for a dog but it doesn’t have an enclosed yard. There is a fire-pit near the stream. Bring a flashlight if you need to go outside at night. It is very dark. The sound of the creek is soothing. You can hear it in the house.

Wow!!!

This place is amazing! My husband and I have been coming to Ellijay annually for about 15 years or so and this was by far our favorite cabin! The location is perfect- secluded and beautiful! Our pups had the best time, running freely and playing in the creek. There is a trail behind the cabin that was safe and accessible enough for my elderly father to walk on (he uses a cane). Communication with the owner, Laura, was outstanding. She made sure we had everything we needed and was quick to respond to texts and calls. We will definitely be returning to this cabin in the future!

Always a magnificent experience

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place. The sound of the creek and beauty of the property make for a restful and relaxing time. The owners are very responsive if an issue should come up. We have stayed multiple times and I am working on my next visit.

Relaxing getaway

Enjoyed our stay in this amazing cabin. Not one thing we can think of that should be changed. Definitely follow the written directions provided or you'll end up on a one way dirt road which wasn't an issue till we met a van coming from the opposite direction. All good and would definitely come back to this cabin

Another great stay!!

This is our third time staying at this wonderful cabin and each time we stay we like it better than the last time! The location is great- very private with plenty of outdoor space (and the creek) for the kids and dogs to explore while also being close to the city (restaurants/shopping) and apple orchards/farms. The communication with Laura is always perfect. Every time I have a question her response is immediate and she is so accommodating. My kids started asking to come back next year before we’d even left!

Family Get-Away

Love this place!!!!

This place is fantastic!!! Not only was the cabin immaculate and cozy but the location is just amazing! Very secluded and beautiful with sounds of the rushing creek all around you. I cannot say enough about the hosts, as well. We ran into some last minute difficulties and they were extremely accommodating and considerate. We are already looking at upcoming dates to book this gem again.

Lush oasis

Such a gorgeous piece of property, we felt like we had been dropped in a temperate rainforest. Lush, green and cool little surprises everywhere, like wild turkeys, foxes, gorgeous lillys, two different kinds of turtles , lovely little bird visitors annd interesting and unique plants! Every day we and (the dog) walked and explored our surroundings and every day it was different ! The house was immaculate and totally comfortable. It has everything you need. Definitely a great place to unwind and unplug.

Magical Time in North Georgia

This place is absolutely amazing! We have been renting cabins for many years, and I have now found the only cabin property I ever want to rent again. This place has it all—a wonderful, immaculately clean cabin on ten completely secluded acres of beautiful surroundings. Our dog had a blast running around the property and playing in the creek. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place.

A river runs through it

The cabin sits on a small hill with a creek on both sides that meet at the bottom of the property, creating a flat area with trees, a fire pit, and his swing seat, a real, enchanting setting. The cabin is comfortable and has everything you need; it is very Solidly built . It’s the perfect place to find some solitude and peace. We would stay in this cabin again with no hesitation.

My husband and I were able to get away to this beautiful location with our pups in tow. We all enjoyed peaceful walks whether down well maintained paths or to the creeks. At night the fire was a cozy way to settle in for the evening. Such a sweet cabin with plenty of room and well appointed. Peaceful and perfect

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The cabin was perfect and cozy. The sitting area down by the creek was so lovely and plenty of flat area by the fire pit and creek to mozy around. My 5 year old and dog enjoyed playing and running around down there. We also enjoyed the nature hike behind the house. About 10 minutes down the road is a beautiful winery. We will definitely be returning.

Perfect location for an escape

My family of 4 stayed here comfortably a few days before Thanksgiving 2023 and I have to say we all fell in love. We arrived at 10:00pm which I highly advise against arriving in the dark unless you have a hi Intensity light, and very good wheeling skills and the directions written down, because when they say service is spotty they mean non existent so be warned write them down. When you think you are going the wrong way keep going. Since we arrived at night we had know idea what our surroundings were, but the house was lit up nicely around the perimeter. The cabin itself is beautifully maintained and has all the modern amenities you could want. The next morning when we walked out on the front deck was the first look in day light we all had and man is it a sight to see. The cabin sits up on the high ground while the driveway slopes down to a little creek that runs through the property. In front of the creek is a nice fire pit with chairs and a swinging bench where we spent every night cooking hot dogs and marshmallows telling stories around the campfire it was perfect. To me the best was no matter where you are on this property you will not see or hear another human now that’s nice.

Wonderful!

I truly enjoyed my time at this cabin. It is so beautiful and secluded, not a neighbor in sight! The cabin itself was very clean and cozy. The master bedroom's mattress was super comfy! I slept like a baby! It has a beautiful wood burning fireplace (firewood not provided) but unfortunately it was still too warm to have a fire. Maybe next time! I loved the swing in front of the creek. It was so relaxing. I had everything I needed to make my stay perfect. Laura was great! She was quick to get back with me on any questions I had. I will definitely book this cabin again for future trips!

Host is amazing! Cabin is beautiful & VERY secluded.

If you want a place that is secluded... this is the place! You are surrounded by nature. This is a very beautiful log cabin with a rushing creek. We took a walk down to the creek and roasted marshmellows. Listening to the two girls laugh and play with the sound of the creek behind us was just what we needed. Absolultely beautiful and peaceful! Laura is an amazing host. She communicates quickly and is very accommodating. While making the reservations, there were some VRBO online hiccups. Laura was patient and helped get answers. I feel she went above and beyond. While staying at the cabin, my husband and I ran into an issue. He called Laura and she was so sweet and pleasant. Highly recommend this beautiful and secluded cabin! You will not be disappointed!!

Beloved Cabin

Everything was just as advertised. We had an issue with the DIRECTV. I contacted Laura, she was right on it. Directv came the next day, we lost one day of our vacation time waiting for the Directv appointment , Laura said she would compensate us for that, we asked to extend our stay one more day, and she said she would gladly to that. We waded the creek, sat on the porch, and it was very peaceful .We saw a black bear on Wednesday evening right next to the front porch landing. Unfortunately we didn’t see it again, although we did see foot prints. The road coming in is a little rough, but can be done in a car, we drive an SUV and had no problem. Thank you Laura for being a wonderful host.

Deep in the woods

We were looking to get away and this log home had that feel for sure. Tucked back off the hidden roads and very quiet and peaceful location. The clearing and swing by the two joining streams was a nice and relaxing way to kick back and just here nature. You must take the directions from the owner to find it BUT visit Roos Winery on the way home each night for breath taking views and some very good libations.
