Love the Coosawatee River, it settles ones soul to listen to the rapids and nature while sitting around the fire pit drinking local wine while looking at the stars with great friends!

Everything was perfect. Only complaints are no WiFi & half the electrical outlets need to be replaced in unit. Cords won’t stay plugged in. We made it work. Unit was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back for a third trip.

Nice but a few problems
While they Villa itself was very nice, the kitchen equipment was minimal at best. We were unable to start the fireplace in the main room and there were no instructions to help us. We were also unable to make the televisions in the main bedroom or upstairs work.

Our girls trip was awesome. We had plenty of room and Debbie at checkin, as usual was so helpful and sweet. The weather was great and shopping, apple picking and wine tastings were plentiful. Villas at Coosawattee River is my favorite place in Ellijay.

I loved all the deer and it was quiet. It felt like it was far from town but was not. The cabin was very clean & exactly what was shown in pictures.

Beautiful views of the River, secluded area far from town. If you are a nature lover, this is your place. We really enjoyed seeing all the Deer! This property is very outdated on the inside. Needs a fresh coat of paint and new furnishings. The mattress was so loud and squeaky to the point that it kept me and my husband awake all night, and it had a bad sag in the middle.This place would be amazing if it was updated. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Gorgeous setting in nature by the river.
Beautiful place overall… especially the area it’s located in and outdoors surrounding the place; the house is dated and needs a bit of taking care of and updating; has all that is needed to stay comfortably; beds are squeaky and not really comfortable although they sleep fine.

Loved the location on the river with a great enclosed deck to view it from. Swing and rapids relaxed us like a meditation. Even for two nights this place recharged and refreshed us. Wineries and Hitching Post pizzas were the adventure and the fire pit a great place to watch river floaters and wild life.

The property is nice and spacious but the lady bugs inside were beyond insane they were everywhere to where you could not relax could leave the porch door open. To many dead bugs in the bathroom and living room this was to much to relax

Our cabin that was described (pictures shown on website) was not the same cabin. The cabin had roaches (killed over 15 that we could get to) and when called to complain I was told there was nothing they could do. I had to wait until the next day to get another place to stay. Poor communication with staff (my complaint wasnt forwarded). We spent the extra money to have the cabin feeling and not what we ended up getting. No apologies given for the inconvenience. When we were moved they acted like they were doing us a big favor. Still didn't get what we paid for or refunded.

Thank you for your feedback. We are so sorry you had an issue with bugs during your stay. Our team takes pride in making sure our Villa's are clean and ready for our guests. We do have regular pest control service as we are in the woods and right on the river pests are present. The miscommunication between departments will be addressed.

We stayed in one of the 3 bedroom Villas, it had all the amenities you need and very spacious! The view of the river and large space out back was great!

I enjoyed my stay in the cabin. It was clean and everything worked. Staff working at the property were very kind and helpful. I realized on arrival that the river pictures were not from my cabin. This cabin was maybe 30-40 yards from the bank of river and on a part of the river that is still water (no rocks/small rapids). Also, I didn’t realize how large the property is. It’s beautiful, but not walkable. I had a 15 minute drive to the rec center. Rec center is as pictured. I was looking for a quiet get away and this cabin definitely provided that. I saw more deer than people, which was awesome!

Cabin was nice and had everything we needed. Only downside was the long, curvy narrow roads to get to the cabin. Hard to get back to your cabin at night when it is dark, until you get used to where your cabin is. Other than that, a nice stay.

Nice spot- bad mattress.
The Villa was nice and clean. The bed mattress had a hole in the middle. I didn't notice but my wife said it sucked her downhill towards me all night(I sleep soundly). The only other gripe is that trees blocked much of the view of the river; disappointing. But the deck overlooking the trees next to the river was outstanding, and we still had a great time.

Overall, a very nice place to stay.
We stayed at the "Villa" on the river. Overall, our place was really nice. It was clean and had everything we needed. My only complaints were that the sheets were polyester. I can't sleep or wear polyester because it actually burns my skin. I had to go out and buy a cotton blanket to sleep in and put a t-shirt around a pillow. The little single bed is really hard but the main queen bed is nice. There is also a little trundle mattress under the single bed. I am not sure that there is room to pull it out all of the way, but it would be convenient if you need it. I also think that they ought to have salt and pepper in the cabins. We left a little laundry detergent and ketchup packages in the drawers for the next person should they need it. I don't know if it will be allowed to stay.

I do wish you had reached out to our office or our after hours service so our housekeeping staff could have provided cotton bedding for you to use during your stay. I didn't really like anything all that much. There was a firepit that we used to roast hot dogs & make smores in the evening. That's about the only good thing about the whole stay. The cabin i stayed at needs some serious updates. Living room furniture is old & uncomfortable. You can hear every noise throughout the cabin. The TV needs to be in every room in my opinion & the one in the living room needs to be larger. Check in process was good. Arcade room was fun for the kids. Didn't like how close the cabins were to each other.

We are so glad you were able to enjoy the Rec Center with the game room, indoor pool, fitness center, mini-golf, and pickleball court. So much better than expected. VERY roomy. Huge back porch. River in the backyard. 2 baby deer greeted us in the morning and 4 grown deer visited us in the evening. Quiet and peaceful.
