'Last week room had no furniture except bed and desk. Found out in true Alaska style the truck with the new furnishings for the entire hotel has yet to arrive. They are doing their best! Also excellent salmon fishing in the river across the street. Enjoy!'

'We had the best time here. The rooms were comfortably spacious, with the exception of the shower/bathroom. Overall, the hotel itself offered a lot and is right in the heart art of multiple must see’s. '

'We weren’t sure about this hotel initially since we were arriving after hours with no ‘human’ on duty. But the experience was awesome. Received code to our room day of arrival. Room was clean and comfortable. I left something on premises and when I reached out they went out of their way to find it and ship it back to me. Very close to Alaska Railroad for train ride to cruises. Perfect for our purposes! Highly recommend!'

'The day we checked in and as we almost made it to our room, the fire alarm went off. With luggage in hand we ran down the stairs and found the outdoor exit with another guest. We made our way to the front of the building and learned it was a false alarm, thank goodness. Anyway, fun times :-)
The staff is wonderful and kind. Breakfast was wonderful with optoons to have omelets made the way you want, and pancakes too. Our room was clean and quite. Overall, great stay.'
