'we hebben drie nachten gelogeerd in Rising Sun Hotel. Prima hotel.

'Staff were extremely helpful, professional and friendly'

'Everything we hoped for and more. If the parking was more straightforward it would be 100% . But Everything worked .'

'We really enjoyed our stay. I was a little surprised that the faucet in the bathroom was very loose, as was the toilet tissue roll holder. Not a big deal, but had me question attention to detail.'

'Our room was gorgeous! Wonderfully high ceiling and the bed was enormous and so comfortable. A nespresso machine, tea bags and fresh milk were provided. The staff were all so friendly especially the breakfast lady, she was particularly warm and kind. Also the location is perfect, close to the lovely bars of Montpellier and the shops. This was our first visit to this hotel but it definitely won’t be our last.'

'Spotlessly clean hotel and everything thought about, would definitely stay again'

'The hotel was in the ideal location for our purpose. It had its own car park which was convenient. The building looks good from the outside, unfortunately the rooms are out dated and ours was very hot. As it was on the ground floor we did not feel it safe to open the larger windows and the small window did not provide sufficient cooling. We had noisy neighbours both above and next door, this was unlucky and could happen in any hotel.'

'Outside city centre. A bit of a shady street '

'Parking at the hotel is very convenient. The lack of a small refrigerator in the room was a minus'

'Clean, comfortable room. Lovely bed.'

'We were in Cheltenham, passing through from London to Liverpool, because of top restaurant Le Champignon Sauvage, a few minutes walk from the hotel. Strange atmosphere that evening because England lost from Croatia in the World Cup. Very nice hotel in a beautifully restored mansion though!'
