'Good hotel, good location, although all the outside restaurants are a 15 minute walk away. Had dinner twice at the hotel restaurant, which was good. Parking is in a public parking place 5 minutes away; hotel guests pay half the normal price: 8 GBP a day. Nice and helpful staff. Room was not very large but OK although the airco caused an unpleasant draught and had to be switched off when I was in the room. My main gripe is the wifi connection in the room which runs (if it runs at all) at 0.16...

'Meer dan prima hotel, met goede kamer en faciliteiten. Alles netjes schoon en goed onderhouden. Diner en ontbijt is zeer goed, bediening wat aan de langzame kant. Vrij parkeren achter hotel is ideal.'

'Overlooking the cricket ground, Travelodge was convenient to where our van was being worked on and to cycle and walking trails around the city.'

'We hebben verschillende hotels geprobeerd maar komen toch steeds hier weer terug. Het hotel ligt voor ons zeer centraal en makkelijk langs de M1, de service en vriendelijkheid is optimaal, het ontbijt geweldig en mocht er toch iets niet goed zijn wordt het meteen verholpen.'

'We managed to check in early and get the car parked at the front of the hotel, thanks to the friendly staff. Easy to find, and in a good location, being a short walk from the city centre restaurants and pubs. A quiet location however, with a comfortable, clean room. The entrance hall and staircase are magnificent Breakfast next day was fine, and excellent value for the price.'

'Comfortabel, schoon slaapkamers. Vriendelijk en bekwaam medewerkers. Enige minpunt is dat de hotel bar vroeg dicht gaat, 22:00 zondag t/m vrijdag en 21:00 zaterdag.'

'Check in was efficient Staff were friendly Rooms were clean and functional. Evening restaurant was a disaster 45 min to get and appetizer and customers were not happy. Food left on service counter and not bought out to tables. Breakfast was much more efficient. May have been a bad evening but no real apologies offered. Average budget stay hotel. '
