'This was such a find! Stayed one night with friends in a private room while we hiked in the Brecon Beacons and it was perfect for what we needed. Perks included - plenty of drying rooms (it rained the whole time we were there so this was very much needed!), restaurant and bar, cosy lounge with fire and board games, and a sink in the room. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and great location. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back.'

'Left each morning before breakfast so nice to be offered a takeaway sausage sandwich, thank you. Got a couple of evening walks and pre-warned about possibility of closed restaurant if quiet but other options not required as lovely and busy. '

'A beautiful converted train wagon nestled in the Welsh countryside. Very well put together with most amenities available. Very comfy bed - small but well sized for a intimate break together. There were just a few things we thought to mention: 1. No WiFi came as a huge surprise. Personally we (and probably most) assumed there would be wifi. We would’ve really appreciated this being explicitly stated. 2. There was practically no communication from the hosts, just an empty email with a pin on...

'Goede B&B met zeer vriendelijke dames. B&B is netjes en schoon. Goede bedden en goed ontbijt. Locatie is aan de rand van een schitterend ruig natuurgebied met vele mogelijkheden om te wandelen of fietsen. Allen jammer dat je niet in de directe omgeving kan dineren.'

'I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). '
