'This was a lovely little hut to stay in for a few nights. One double bed and then a pull out sofa bed. We didn't try the sofa bed, but the double was comfortable. The shower was great, and the towels provided were more than adequate. I didnt find the hair dryer until we were ready to leave. Its in a box under the bed. 'Eilidh is a lovely host. So nice to see a local young lady caring so much about her village. The accommodation is a fantastic use of space and ideal for our week’s stay. Very warm and comfortable. I recommend this wholeheartedly. We were a couple with a dog. She (the dog) was instantly as ease. Nice enclosed front garden ensured she didn’t wander. Excellent location for a walk down to Brora’s stunning beach.'

'Beautiful area, so peaceful and quiet. We saw a herd of deer pass by, red kites, owls and a sea eagle. As a pet owner I’m always worried about space for my dog, absolutely no worries here, as long as you keep your dog under control they have room to relax too ! Everything you need is supplied , loved the wood stove and the wee oven underneath made perfect pizza’s. 'We have been country members of Tain Golf Club for twenty years. If you haven't played Tain, please put it on your next itinerary! We have been traveling in Scotland for many years. 2022 and 2023 was the first time we stayed for three months with NO car! So many places to visit where you can be fine walking from train station to accomodation to golf to market to restaurants. This cottage in Tain was perfect for us.'

'This spacious home is very comfortable and nicely located. From this cottage you can very well visit the highlands, but also Loch Ness, Cairngorm mountain and the Spey district are good to visit. The cottage is very well furnished, a complete kitchen and a good and warm welcome from the hostess. On arrival there was a nice welcome basket with regional dishes.'

'Very nice and quiet tiny house, still close to the nearest town and beach. For me the bed could’ve been a bit longer, but the couch that turned into a bed was long enough and additional sheets were provided. It’s fully equipped and very modern, we liked staying here a lot.'
