'Three night stay away without the car for a change. Train station just 10 minutes away and taxi rank outside the hotel, well located. Staff all friendly and food is good. A little tatty in places and missed no plugs beside the bed, no hairdryer but not a massive thing. Totnes is definitely the place to go if you have a dog as everywhere caters for them.'

'We stayed 2 nights. Good sized room/bathroom, cozy and very clean. Breakfast served at the table, good choice. We didn’t use the restaurant but it was fully booked the first night and the menu had a good choice. Within walking distance of the center and the ferry’s. Plenty of things to see and do in the area. The staff are amazing, the bedroom and bathroom beautiful, the breakfast's really set you up for the day, and the locals who visit the pub in the late afternoon share stories and tips on walks to take, and places to eat. 'Loved the room, it was a comfy bed and had all the amenities we needed. The staff were helpful, chatty and very welcoming. We had breakfast most days and lunch on the day we didn’t in the pub downstairs and Alex even remembered what sauce we liked! The pub had a fab atmosphere, the food was lush and the cocktails were gorgeous. Would definitely stay again 💕❤️😍'
