Nice home… with a few issues
This home wasn’t awful. I will say that. After a day or so we really started to see it hadn’t been properly prepared for us. The hot tub chemicals were too strong to sit in it, the outside porches of the home needed a cleaning and the inside could really use a deep clean. We found the nature trail to be a little deceiving. It wasn’t awful but I wouldn’t stay again.

Nice for holidays!
My family spent Christmas as this lil cabin. It was nice and cozy! It was decorated lovely for the holiday season!! The activities downstairs were really family-centric I would have rated cleanliness higher except The cleaning could have been better. The ceiling has a strange leak that they said they thought was condensation but it seemed like entirely too much water for condensation, idk? My mom found a booger on 1 of the pillows in the master bedroom and I found some type of weird white substance wiped on the wall in the downstairs bedroom. I notified management and they offered to have a “housekeeping come out and take care of the booger on the pillow and wipe down the wall by your bed?” And we declined because we’re capable of doing that, I guess wasn’t the point. The coffee maker upstairs was clogged and wouldn’t work properly, luckily we found 1 downstairs that was clean. I feel like the 2 hour window off needing to let them know about any issues is a little much. For example-we didn’t get in from the ATL airport until ~1AM-we were exhausted and not able to go thru to inspect within the 2 hours. Our overall stay was nice.

Loved the Cabin
Comfy & clean inside & out. Hot tub worked perfectly & very clean. Cabin was spacious & fit our family of 6 perfectly. Screened in porch was amazing, ate our breakfast & dinners out there. Only thing that did not work was wifi. Owner & property managers, very responsive & did attempt to call the Internet company to get this fixed. Unfortunately, we needed to call the Internet company while in the cabin to troubleshoot. The Internet company did not answer, with a long hold time on one attempt then disconnected during another attempt. This was NO FAULT to the owner or property manager which is why I still gave 5 stars. Just disappointed I could not utilize wifi to check some work items while out of town. We are looking forward to our next stay here, just hope the WiFi is working the next trip.

We had a great time. It snowed about 3 inches and being from Florida it was quite a treat. Spent 95% of our time at cabin and enjoyed ourselves.

Girls Weekend
Overall, this was a nice weekend stay for me, my sisters and niece. The location was perfect - close to McCaysville and Blue Ridge. The den had plenty of comfortable seating for all of us - many rentals do not. We spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch - great place to hang out. There was plenty of firewood for us to make a fire - unfortunately, there was no lighter to start the fire :( Oh well, lesson learned in being better prepared! There were a few bigger issues that were brought to property mgmt's attention, and I'm sure have been addressed. One was immediately addressed by Brittany upon our arrival - again, thank you Brittany for bringing a fan out to us! All-in-all, Sweatwater Escape was a comfortable home, and we had an enjoyable weekend!

Everything we expected and more!
This cabin is just beautiful! Pictures don’t do it justice. The property manager was so easy to contact for check in. The beds are so comfortable and everything was so clean. The family game room was a hit for all of us, including my 4 teenagers who disconnected from their cellphones and enjoyed each other. Located just a few miles in between Blue Ridge or McCaysville. We would definitely recommend this property and book again for future stays.

Perfect Cabin
Perfect little getaway! Cabin was very clean and had plenty of utensils and dishes. One of the burners on the stove wasn’t working but no big deal. Check in and checkout was super easy. Loved the fire pit outside! We would absolutely come back and I would recommend this place.

Peace and quite in the woods
Very nice Property. Love the free ticket for the horseback riding and especially the white water rafting. However, I thought we would have a view of mountains at this property but it trees blocked all views if there were any. But the cabin was very well furnished and homey feel was spot on. Only other ding is that the location was a little difficult to get to. BUT overall cabin is a solid 4 out of 5 stars (and I'm a tough Judge)

Beautiful Cabin in the woods!
If you are looking for a cabin getaway this place is for you! The cabin is absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed the decks as well as the hot tub! Our boys loves the game room and tv area downstairs! The staff truly went above and beyond to help us after we realized we left some items at the cabin. Book this one! You won’t regret it!
