Begin je volgende Georgia-avontuur met deze klassieke kleine hut in de Creekside, weggestopt in de bomen van Epworth, GA. Dit mooie, hondvriendelijke huis beschikt over een rustiek interieur met houten panelen, hardhouten vloeren, een open haard en zelfs een flipperkast en tafelvoetbal. Als je de forel niet uit Fightingtown Creek haalt, strek je je uit in de ruime woonkamer om je favoriete shows te volgen met de Dish Network TV. Breng wat tijd door met een goed boek in de hot tub, gooi dan een beetje char op de vangst van vandaag met de gasgrill en serveer het over de mooie eettafel.

Je hebt de beste bergactiviteiten binnen handbereik, zoals paardrijden, wandelen, paddleboarden, slangen, wildwatervaren, kajakken en zelfs zip-lining. Rolling Thunder River Company ligt slechts acht mijl ten noordoosten en biedt wildwaterplezier met drie verschillende rivieren om uit te kiezen. Great trip

We loved the rustic cabin. The sun/game room had a smoke smell to it. Told property management and they will do a deep cleaning. Otherwise stay was very quiet and relaxing. Loved the hot tub and then fireplace. Only wish we had a longer stay.

Disappointed!

My family and I wanted a last weekend away before school started and I see why this cabin was still available last minute. The pics are very misleading, the creek is inaccessible as stated by other reviews but it was the interior of the cabin that was so disappointing. Broken air conditioning not addressed the entire stay kept my family out of the game room / dining area. Broken plastic chairs around the fire pit were not only unusable but a hazard. The living room furniture is so old and broken down it was uncomfortable. Sticky utensils and spices in the kitchen, dusty curtains, cobwebs and tape left on the walls from party decorations, etc. This property has so much potential it is a shame to see this level of neglect. *They contacted us about our inquiry on AC after checkout.

Terribly disappointed

Showed up at 9:30 pm to a door wide open. Unsettling to say the least. Beds were slept in and animals were in the beds....towels and linens were thrown on the floors. The baths were not cleaned and hairs all in the showers still. Dirty, dirty kitchen and floors really dirty. We washed our own bed linens to have a clean bed to sleep in. No one could come until the next morning. Showed up at 10 ish.....she was very apologetic and nice. Her person quit and didn't tell anyone. She made it right. We were gifted our cleaning fee and one night back, or so they say! We will see if it shows up!!!!

We loved our stay!

We had so much fun just relaxing and hanging out at the cabin! My husband and father-n-law enjoyed fishing! The cabin was clean and we had to call them about a small leak we found to let them know and they was on it to get it taken care of. We did the late checkout and that was nice not having to rush that morning!

Relaxing stay for family

My family of 5 stayed 2 nights here. Had a wonderful time. No TV’s or fireplaces in the bedrooms. Game room was cold when we arrived but it was 17 degrees outside and it warmed up well with the provided heaters and stayed warm enough as long as we kept the heaters on high the whole time. Hot tub was nice and clean. We were unable to use it the first day because it was too cold, as the policy stayed to leave it on 80 degrees. But we used it the second day and the morning we checked out. There was a little dust, especially on the higher items in the cabin, and a quilt that had the smell of the fireplace. But overall it was pretty clean. Also, the firewood was wet as it had snowed the day we arrived so it was difficult to get the fire started, but we enjoyed it once we did and roasted marshmallows. The open loft and 3 entrances to the bedroom, including a jack-and-Jill bath that opens into the kitchen didn’t lend much privacy, so this isn’t a cabin for a romantic getaway if you bring the family. Overall a nice stay and we enjoyed ourselves.

Misleading

The pictures on here are not what you see when you arrive. The outside is very unkept and overgrown. Almost all the furniture inside is different than the photos. All the furniture is older and very worn. Most of it is quite uncomfortable. The table in the living room to eat at leans heavily to one side making it useless. And to top it off most of the decor was covered in a thick layer of dust. The vents were covered in dust. And my husband found someone else's dirty undergarments in the loft area leading us to question how much cleaning actually gets done. The location of this cabin was fantastic and would have gotten more stars if the pictures weren't so misleading.

Very nice cottage...but needs attention from management

Very nice cottage in a good location. The cottage is clean and comfortable. Plenty of towels, bedding, and extra pillows. Overall we enjoyed our stay but I feel that the management company/owner has not visited the property in quite a while and as a result there are a number of issues with the cottage. 1) Dish TV was not functioning 2) There were no more than two glasses of the same type. Just two drinking glasses. Plenty of coffee cups and three wine glasses) No offense but it reminded me of my cup collection when I a freshman in college. 3) The dinner plates (not matching were made of a very thin cheap plastic). 4) Pin ball machine was not operational (lost a quarter) 5) Loft mattresses were very uncomfortable. 6) Living room couch back cushions were so thin that you felt the hard frame when you sat. 7) The notebook for the house was essentially worthless when it came to things around the house. It was obviously written by Vacasa for use in all their houses in the Blue Ridge area houses. All the instructions were so generic that most of details on the few page of material did not apply to the house we were staying in. 8) The chair near the fireplace is starting to fall apart. As noted in previous reviews creek access was difficult. Again it is a nice property and we enjoyed our stay. It could have a five star rating if the owner/management company paid more attention to the details. I am afraid the rating could eventually drop to a three stars if the properly is not reinvested in.

Creek Access is Deceiving

The issue I want to bring to everyone's attention is the creek access. The only way to climb into the creek is down a 6-10 embankment and then you have to climb a rope back up. Honestly the owner needs to just spend the money to build stairs or a deck that you can use to access the water. Overall the property was fine for what we needed beside the issue with accessing the water,

Cute Cabin

The cabin was cute however, wasn't exactly what we expected. The pinball machine would not work so the kids were disappointed. Also, you could not see the creek from the cabin. There is an embankment with trees so my son was disappointed because it was almost impossible to try and fish. One reason we chose the cabin was for the creek. The cabin is cute and is centered between both towns Blue Ridge and McCaysville.

Great Spring Cabin

This cabin was comfy and fun! The kids loved the fooseball table, pinball machine, and hot tub. The adults loved sitting by the creek in the sunshine. Loved the fire pit and numerous places for us all to sit and hang out inside and out. My only requests would be to have more towels and spare sheets and to have a clearer casting area for fishing with small children. Overall, fantastic weekend!

Beautiful property but overall meh

Sheets were dirty, walls covered in dust. Housekeepers were still there when we arrived at 4 for check in. Did not feel clean or disinfected. Most lights wouldn't work/turn on. Internet was impossible to access (tried everything). Kitchen equipped with the worst pots and pans. Pillowcases had actual visible dirt on several. Sheets smelled on b.o. other blankets musty. Not the most comfy place to stay during covid. Said hot tub cleaned and refilled but that is obviously not true.

Relaxing in the woods

This is a beautiful little cabin in the woods. Wonderful for our dogs and kids. The kids loved playing pin ball and Foosball. We all loved relaxing in the hot tub. Our dogs really loved the walks in the woods.

Not As Pictured

My family had a good time but the pictures of the exterior was not the same. My son and I wanted to fish but the picture of the "Lake" was no really only a creek that you could not get close enough to fish. The exterior was all grown up and there was trash laying on the ground. Apparently the trash was not picked up and animals had got into it. The inside of the house was good, but the outside did not have any type of scenic view.

The cabin was not ready at check in time, when we did get the cabin it was not completely clean. There was not parking for three cars as stated (glad we only had one) the hot tub was dirty and over chlorinated (had 12 tablets the average hot tub takes 3) the down stairs shower didn’t work. The backyard is highly unkept. Pictures are more then likely several years old. When I told these things to Management. She apologized offered half the cleaning fee and hot tub fee back. Someone did show up to ask about the shower but it was a few days later. We winded up leaving a day early. Would not rent again.
