The staff charged me for the room instead of just the deposit and then gave me attitude when I informed them the room was paid through Expedia in full area. There excuse was that “third party bookings” give them a hard time. That is no excuse to double charge me and just try to hand me room keys like all is well. All is not well. You just charged me full price for the room and not the deposit. The “oh well” attitude from the staff was unbelievable. The lady also called me by an ungodly word under her breath and got upset bc I pointed out that I heard her and told her may God bless her anyway. Why are you upset that you are being called out on trying to overcharge me and disrespect me. I had to stay bc the room was non refundable through Expedia or I would have left. The next morning I went down for coffee, went back up and my room key didn’t work. I was giving the third degree to just get a working room key. They had to change our room because the tv not the AC was working. Would you know the next morning I go down for coffee and a bagel and when I went back up my room key didn’t work again and I had to get a new one again. I usually enjoy staying at Hilton hotels but this will be a never book again hotel for me. Now that we have checked out I’m relieved. So much for Springbreak being hassle free.
