Perfect accommodations for group of adults exploring Escalante.
We had 4 couples and a couple of single folks needing a place to stay while going to Peek-a-Boo and Spooky slot canyons along with other sites like hole-in-the-Wall. We ate some meals at restaurants and other in the house. Everyone thought the house was perfect.

Comfortable home
We are a family of 7 adults who hiked some of the Escalante canyons. The house was perfect for our group with plenty of space and a well stocked kitchen to cook our evening feasts. The pictures on verbose do not do it justice!

Great Central Location
We had a wonderful stay in Escalante. The home served as a beautiful and comfortable spot for our home base. We visited several national parks during our stay. The home is spacious and well-equipped. Thumbs up!

Escalante Adventure
We stayed at the Two Bit Ranch House in Escalante, Utah from April 16th to 20th 2023. The location was perfect for us to allow visiting many parts of southern Utah, such as the Grand Staircase, Bryce, Capital Reef and Kodachrome. The house is very roomy with multiple bedrooms and a fully livable basement. This is a very quiet area to stay in a very roomy ranch. A few things could be updated including the locking mechanism of a main level bedroom window (broken) and a leaky clothes washer machine. Also, we came across 30-40 loose 9mm bullets in the master bedroom, bedside table, top drawer. We were not worried for our own safety with no obvious gun in the house but I'd worry about small kids getting into it. We really, really liked the use of the two-car garage and some of the outdoor games available looked like a lot fun. I think if it had been a little warmer in April we would have had more time on the back porch that is well-equipped with an outdoor table and chairs and numerous Adirondack chairs. Very sweet setup. Great wifi service so we could expect good reception for zooming our regular exercise classes during our stay and have fast internet speed for TV and devices. Fiberoptics? It’s fantastic. We would return to this rental for it’s reasonable pricing, lots of room and the sweet town of Escalante. Nice to see a lot less traffic in this area of southern Utah! And a lot less off-road vehicles than what you often see and hear in the Moab area.

Nicest house in the neighborhood
House was very nice, clean and well stocked. It could easily house 6+ couples. I would recommend this rental to any of my friends. Escalante is a awesome little town with everything from grocery stores, hiking supplies, awesome restaurants and COFFEE SHOPS.

Wonderful Family Stay
After backpacking for a few days in Coyote Gulch, our family was ready for a more comfortable place to stay while enjoying day hikes in the Escalante area. This was it! House and property were great, extremely comfortable and lots of nice little things to make everything special (even pancake syrup in the fridge!). Loved it.

Second lovely stay
Our hiking group returned to Liberty's property after staying there last year because it was so enjoyable. The place is spotless (linens were so resh and clean), well-stocked, and comfortable (beds, temperature). And the hostess was quick to respond and easy to communicate with.

Great "home base" for adventuring
This is a nice, spacious home. Three bedrooms on the ground level. The basement has 2 more, plus a large family room. Use of the garage was a plus. Everything was clean and in good condition. The dining area has changed since the pictures were taken. Now, it has a long wooden table, with 2 chairs on one side and a long wooden bench on the other side.

Beautiful house in a beautiful area
Our group of hikers had a wonderful relaxing and comfortable stay. 4 West Pub had delicious panini, nachos, and good beer selections. Hikes ranged from Cottonwood Narrows, Red Canyon, To Capitol Reef and beyond. Thank you, Liberty and daughters!

Hidden Gem in Quiet Town
We chose Escalante because it's a much slower pace than Zion or the Moab area. The neighborhood was quiet and only a few blocks from Highway 12 - One of the most scenic roads in the country. We've stayed in many vacation rentals over the last 10 years. This home had the most well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms we've ever seen in a vacation rental. We appreciated having two levels and a large downstairs family room. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of towels, bedding, and x-tra supplies we didn't expect. They even provided a space heater for the basement since it tends to be a little chillier than the upstairs area. The location was great! We were close to so many areas - Bryce, Kodachrome Basin, Petrified Forrest, Hogback Ridge, Hole In the Rock, Capital Reef, the Burr Trail road, etc. We would definitely rent this home again. There's so much more to explore in the area!

Warm place to stay when it is cold!
Brought a big family group to do some winter hiking around Escalante. The hiking was great but the house impressed us with how warm and comfortable it was for everyone. Can’t think of a single thing that was lacking. Great stay.

We enjoyed out stay. The location is convenient to many hikes, very quiet neighborhood and beautiful views from the backyard patio. The kitchen has everything you might need and comfortable common areas. The grill makes cooking easy and the outdoor seating area is a great place to eat and spend time together. The internet speed was good for streaming.

Wonderful and spacious base camp
This property was perfect for our visit to Escalante. Well situated between Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef NPs and perfect for visiting the local attractions of Hole in the Rock Road, Spooky, Escalante Bridge and Calf Creek Falls. The property owners are very responsive and make the whole process very easy. I can't wait to stay here for our next trip.

Excellent time. Liberty, the owner, was great. We were there for my daughter’s graduation from TAR and it was wonderful having all of us able to stay together and enjoy each other’s company. The house was clean, beds are very comfortable and very close to Main St.

Road Trip
This was our third stay in our three week road trip to the beautiful parks in Utah. We loved the house. It has so much space and we were so comfortable. Nicely setup kitchen, comfortable bedrooms. The views out of the Windows are spectacular. Escalante is a great little town.

Absolutely wonderful Stay
After a long day driving, we arrived at this place. Walked in and we were sooooo happy to see a meticulous clean place. A clean place helps because this is our first road trip during this pandemic so we can be at peace and enjoy our trip. Everything that we need was available for us in the bathroom, bedroom and kitchen. There are only 6 of us but this place can accommodate a big group. Communication was excellent. We highly recommend this place. Thank you for allowing us enjoy your place. It's a gem.

I wouldn’t call it a ‘ranch’, maybe a home of exquisite views and comfort. Very clean, well appointed, helpful property manager. Two Bit Ranch is spacious, down-home, comfy and clean.
The large, 2-storey ranch house is located in a semi-rural Escalante neighborhood with lots of space between neighbors. There is a is large yard with horseshoe pit and 2-car garage. The 360 degree view is spectacular. This house has been lived in but we loved the homey feel. The furnishings are comfortable and more than ample. The place was clean and well attended to. It had the best appointed kitchen we have ever found. Everything we needed to cook. Great showers and good tap water. Two adult couples had all the room we needed upstairs and never needed to use the downstairs at all. The hi-def TV was so modern and connected we didn't know how to use it, but a call to Liberty got us on track. We spent mornings drinking coffe on the patio and listening to the meadow larks. We loved our stay and would gladly rebook this VRBO.

Very nice home. We hiked Grand Staircase and drove to Capitol Reef for a day. The town of Escalante is very quaint but modern conveniences (large grocery stores, Walmart) are very far away. Plan ahead if you need anything but basic necessities.

Big house, small town
We enjoyed our stay over Christmas 2020. The homeowner set up a Christmas tree which was a nice touch. It’s a big house with finished basement. My family of four didn’t even need the basement. The town is very small. Luckily we picked up groceries in Moab before heading here because everything was closed. I’m not sure if it was because of the holidays or covid. Nearby Grand Staircase is a cool place to visit.

The Perfect House
We’ve loved staying at this house. There is so much room to spread out. The house smells lovely too which makes it more relaxing. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We loved being able to do our laundry, and they even provided detergent for it- how thoughtful! We loved the restaurant recommendations Liberty provided (get Escalante Outfitters pizza!). This has been a truly wonderful stay in our tour of Southern Utah and Highway 12!

Wonderful time in Escalante
