'It was great to stay in Steinberger. The care for details was huge and the care for the family was great. Mohamed at the entrance was very kind and the kids felt as if they came home, the rest of the trip they kept talking about this hotel. They helped with arranging drivers and tours where asked. We had incredible service the entire time we were there - the staff were amazing and accomodating and had amazing recommendations the entire time.
Laundry service was available and great price.
Swimming pool was beautifully kept, they even had an organic farm with bananas, mangos and herbs.
It’s in a quieter area of Luxor, so if you’re wanting to explore East Bank (the busier side of the city) be prepared for slightly higher taxi fares back...

'Mooi hotel op het rustige west bank van Luxor. Oase van rust in een afgelegen deel van de stad. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel die ons erg goed geholpen heeft maar af en toe ook iets te veel aanwezig was. 'Although the internet service of this hotel is REALLY bad, the rest of it is plainly gorgeous. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff is corteous, helpful, friendly, and efficient. 'Great Stay in Luxor, honestly for being in Egypt, its pretty decent especially; A/C, comfy bed, refrigerator, balcony; its not bad. Shower, sink and toilet area is decent but leaks at times (the seal in the shower area and door does not completely closed) however it does function and it doesn’t take away from you using the bathroom.
Great Service (family owned) so you can ask them anything and they will provide to you! Extra toilet paper and shower shampoo gels you’ll have to ask for....

'De Winter Palace is an beautiful old lady met veel historie. Het gebouw is voornaam representatief en een beetje sleets.
Er zijn meerdere restaurant, een beeldschone tuin met een gigantische pool. Heel erg fijn.
De bediening is zeer goed en vriendelijk.
Wij sliepen in het paviljoen wat aan de tuin is gelegen. Dit moet worden opgeknapt. Met deze vernieuwing is een aanvang genomen.
Nu moet iedere kamer nog individueel worden opgeknapt.
Daar tegenover staat dat het heel goedkoop is.
