'We just got back from staying in the Sunset Suite at VH with our family of 4. We loved the quirkiness of the house, built in the late 18th century so it has wonky floors, but it gives it character. The 2 bedrooms are the only rooms with A/C so be prepared for the living room, kitchen and bathroom to be a lil toasty. We did ask for an extra box fan, which they kindly provided. ' The beach at the resort was an absolute dream for a honeymoon! We toured around the entire island during our honeymoon and kept saying that Sand Castles was the best choice! The drinks onsite were fantastic as well as the restaurant. The continental breakfast was a great way to start the day. We appreciated the snorkeling gear and the ability to take the kayaks out at no additional charge. The resort was so clean and everyone was so nice! We will absolutely be back again soon!'

'The host is above and beyond what you could ask for. I definitely recommend this experience for any nature lover. The site was definitely worth the stay to hear all the beautiful sounds of St Croix. One of our favorite parts was watching the lizards in the grass behind the camp stove, there was such a variety and they just hung out without worry of being watched. We didn’t stay at his container home next door, but we saw it and it would be a perfect combination for a family with kids who want...
