'There was no one at the desk. Self check in via the hotel email. Room was on 2nd floor up two flights of winding stairs not easy to maneuver with luggage. Limited food at the hotel. Did have free parking. Very old building not handicap accessible. Room was a good size and comfortable. Bathroom was very small couldn’t open the door all the way. Not recommended for older people or anyone who can’t do stairs.'

'It’s a lovely, quaint place. It was quite remote but that’s just the way we like it. The rooms were immaculate, extremely modern and tastefully decorated. A traditional style wee bar which added to our experience. The food was great: staff were superb being both friendly and attentive. I will return when in the Borders. Ps the locals who were in the pub added to a great atmosphere. Wonderful stay.'

'Flink gelachen met het personeel (humor lijkt op de Nederlandse), dicht bij de 7Stanes parken van Glentress en Innerleithen en via aparte fietspaden rijdt je er zo naar toe. Gewoon goed voor niet al te veel geld. Eten is ook goed, alleen geen Engels ontbijt maar een buffet met brood, beleg en muesli met yoghurt.'

'Excellent fewdays in Hawick. Loads to do in Hawick, places to get food & drink excellent and Saturday's can have a real buzz about town if rugby club win. That said Hawick High Street is a bit tired looking & could do with a bit of money spent o it. It has potential to be an excellent visit venue. The Bank Bank House was top class. Donna (the owner) couldn't be more helpful. Ecellemt location, comfy, stylish & clean. Will be back next time im down in Hawick.'
