When traveling to Eureka, many of the hotels are a lot older and it's likely they are all in this condition, but here is my review for this hotel. On the outside it is clean and well maintained. Our room was a suite with a jacuzzi on the 3rd floor. When in the jacuzzi my husband noticed something came out of the jets...I convinced him it was just lent. While sitting there, the floor popped a couple of times and I could just imagine falling 3 floors and landing in someones room - without a stitch of clothing. We abandoned that idea got out. The floor from the jacuzzi slanted, actually the entire room did. My husband rolled to me all night, from the slant of the room. The flooring in the bathroom may have had mold under the linoleum floor. There wasnt a plastic liner for the shower, which is probably the reason for the mold. The living area didn't have electrical outlet covers and the base on the cabinet had water damage - which is directly in front of the bathroom. There was an extra blanket for the pull out couch, it had a hole in it.
The top landing had a joist that wasn't even attached to the beam, it had come unscrewed at some point. Needless to say, it was a great disappointment in the condition of the place. It does look clean from the outside, but it definitely use some upgrades and overhauls!
