Beach cottage on the Chesapeake Bay! Unlike other rentals at Silver Beach our beach is part of the property and not a “ community beach”. Private beach just steps from your front door swimming, sun bathing, fishing, kayaking/SUP, campfires, and more. 2024 Renovations include kitchen, flooring, interior, whole home water filtration, and more! Simple cottage with combined living/dining area, 2 bedrooms, sofa bed and bath. Full screened in porch facing the bay, deck on rear of property, outside shower, and gazebo overlooking beach. This property is cute & clean, it is a beach cottage not a luxury resort. The views and experience are amazing and will be enjoyed by couples & families alike! Our season is from April on this yearWeekly bookings Saturday to Saturday June/July/August. 2-3 night stays other months. Monthly/extended stay furnished rental November/December/January/February/March $99 a night and 30% off when booking a month! Please reach out with questions.

Awesome Get Away on the Bay!
What's not to LOVE about this property! Charming, cozy cottage; very comfortable; well organized kitchen with everything you'd need to cook if you'd like to stay in. We really enjoyed the quick access to the private beach...a 30 second walk away! The screened-in porch and outdoor shower are such wonderful features! Our host was very helpful and has truly prepared such an inviting place that all ages could appreciate. We'd gladly return! A great place to relax during any season!

Sunsets, sunsets, sunsets.
A lovely cottage at the beach. Very clean, looked freshly renovated and very comfortable. Amazing view of the water. We sat on the couch and just enjoyed the sunset every night. Great screened in porch and a 1 minute walk to the beach. We really enjoyed how quiet and peaceful it was. Highly recommend!!

Sunset Paradise!
We so enjoyed our “baycation” at Silver Beach on the Eastern Shore! This sweet cottage has its own stretch of beach with gorgeous sunsets, gazebo, screened porch with new furniture, 2 decks and a central location on the Eastern Shore. From here, we could explore towns both north & south, as well as the little towns along both the bay and ocean side. Jennifer has put great thought into her home and all the amenities that she is providing for her guests.(Much more than some OBX rentals I have stayed in!!) The beach area is smooth, clean and the water is shallow. Houses are spread out behind the dune area so you can walk and feel you are the only ones there! Can't say enough about the breathtaking sunsets. This is a very special home!

Quiet Getaway
The beach cottage was perfectly situated on the beach with incredible sunset views and much needed quiet and privacy. Jennifer thought of all the possible amenities we would need. It was very comfortable and I’m just sorry we couldn’t stay longer.

Beach Getaway
This is our 2nd stay at this cozy beach cottage. We absolutely love it. Perfect for sunbathing, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding or just kicking back with a book. Sunsets are out of this world. We will be back 😊

Perfect vacation
This was a perfect place for us and our kids. There are TVs in each bedroom but we didn't use them much. The yard, the beach and the bay were all we needed. The beach is a gradual slope into the water and it takes a long time to get to depths like you'd expect in the bay. With smaller kids, this is perfect -- they can be in the water and aren't latched onto you. The sandy bottom makes for solid footing, too, while watching the kids play in the clear water. We had our young son here, who is not yet a swimmer, and watched his confidence grow each day in the water. Thanks to Virginia summers, the sunsets were different -- and spectacular -- every night. The screened porch is spacious and comfortable. The fans are perfect to conquer the humid days. We played games and did puzzles out there at night – the game and puzzle selection is a nice touch. As are the beach chairs. And the towels – oh, the towels. They are plentiful and nice quality, a great asset for the stay because, well, you're at the beach. Beds were comfortable with nice linens. We brought some supplies, but there were ample coffee items, and it seemed like anything we brought for cooking was also in the house somewhere. We grilled several times, using the stove seemingly only to boil water for tea. There wasn't a need for communication from the host, but she was pleasant and attentive. Her guide to the cottage should be a template for others. This was exactly what we were looking for and we can't wait to return.

Perfect Little Beach House
Perfect little “beach house” for our family. We couldn’t have asked for much more except a longer stay! The kids absolutely loved the beach and sand bar and the fishing was good too! A short drive from a few local places so it was really quiet. A short drive to Cape Charles too! We can’t wait to come back again!
