Hillside Haven-House-Private Bathroom

Hillside Haven is conveniently located in Faber, VA with easy access to the Nelson 151 corridor, Charlottesville, and the quaint town of Scottsville. Enjoy the mountain view from the spacious deck or firepit (both with plenty of seating for your whole group), or head out to explore local hiking trails, breweries, or wineries. This space was recently updated and has all of the modern amenities you need for your next getaway.

Hillside Haven is located at the top of a paved, steep driveway. Please note that 4WD or AWD will be needed in the event of snow during the winter months.

Hillside Haven is one-level living and is broken down below:

LIVING ROOM - Sleeper Sofa, Smart TV (please login to your own streaming services), armchair with ottoman, chair, and entertainment stand.

KITCHEN - Fully stocked kitchen with all major appliances (including dishwasher), electric glass top range, and brand new walnut butcherblock countertops (please be kind to them!), bar with two stools, eat-in dining area set for 4, though there are 6 chairs available.

BATHROOM 1 - Full bathroom with combination shower/tub.

BEDROOM 1 (MASTER) - King bed, two nightstands with lamps, dresser, smart TV, and closet.

BATHROOM 2 (MASTER) - Full bathroom with new tiled walk-in shower.

BEDROOM 2 - Queen bed with nightstand, lamp, and closet. Note: This bedroom does have an exterior door with access to the deck.

BEDROOM 3 - 2 twin beds, dresser, nightstand, 2 lamps, and closet.

OUTSIDE - Large deck with outdoor dining furniture for 6, propane grill (propane may/may not be provided) front porch also has seating for 2, firepit with Adirondack chairs for 6. NOTE - There is a small pond in the backyard that is about 1.5 feet deep. Please watch your small children around it!

Firewood is not always provided (many guests leave some behind), so please plan ahead if you plan to use this amenity.

Guests will have complete privacy during their time at Hilltop Haven. The owner's sibling does own the bordering property, so you may see his truck in the distance down the hill with his camper from time to time.

There is an exterior Ring camera mounted on the side of the house facing the driveway.

As noted above, AWD or 4WD may be necessary in the winter months. We do have the driveway plowed, as needed.

There is a small pond in the backyard that is about 1-2 feet in depth. Please watch your small children!
