'I cannot say better things about this hotel and the service!! First of all, the hotel itself is lovely and the rooms are beautiful! Very “San Miguel de Allende”. Secondly, the staff was beyond amazing! We were there during the time the cartel leader was killed in Jalisco so people and tourist around the Mexico were a little on edge. The staff made sure to keep us informed of any news that came up and got in touch with drivers who had driven to Leon to confirm the roads were safe for us to drive...

'The property was amazing and very authentic in the old San Miguel style. The staff was lovely and very helpful. The only complaint that I had was the hot water took awhile to get going in the shower, and only lasted for about 5 minutes. Otherwise, I highly recommend it and would stay again, despite the shower situation.'
