Hello, I rented your hotel Extended Stay America - Washington, D.C. - Fairfax - Fair Oaks for one night. I returned to the hotel at 2 am, the card was not working. I went to the lobby and no one was there!! I waited until 4:30 and no one was there, then I went to the car and slept until 6:00!! Unfortunately, I rented a hotel and could not sleep in it!!! There were two others whose ball did not work!!! It is unthinkable that a hotel does not have employees، I couldn’t sleep because I have work at 7:30am 😢, Please I want a refund, thank you.

There were multiple bugs found in and around the bed and floor. Staying on the bottom floor is very noisy due to the thin ceilings. No cups, ice bucket provided and there was one small shampoo bottle, no conditioner and only a face wash bar for soap.

The place is okay. But they can do better! The room had a very strong smell that was awful. One of the pillows had what seemed like makeup on it or dirt not sure what that was we had to buy new pillowcases for ourselves. Three nights after midnight there was noise outside from people talking and laughing and not minding about other people sleeping, which disturbed our sleep. The breakfast option is okay.

I didn’t like there were empty rooms downstairs but they gave a 2nd floor room. Also there were kids in the area; they made a lot of noise. You could also hear people talking outside the room and it was extremely annoying. Not one time did they check the room for trash or towels. Lastly I left a couple of items in the room. When I remembered I called the hotel. It was less than 12 hours after I checked out. The guy I spoke to said I could come back to get the items. So I drove back over there and guess what? No items. I asked to check the room. But they already rented it to someone else. Guess the maid threw them in the trash. Nobody ever called me back. Just horrible service all around.

Good: check-in, room was very clean, comfortable beds with fresh linens. Poor: (1) stale smell on entering the room. (2) furnishings VERY minimal. Very basic hotel. Kitchen was not stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. there was a sign that said you could request from the front desk. Front desk staff were not very friendly- not a single hello or smile in the 5 days I was there. Grab and go breakfast was granola bars, oatmeal packets and coffee. Good enough hotel for this trip, but wouldn’t choose it for a relaxing vacation.
